Do Red One users having the same camera purple/red/etc. issue? What is the manufacturing date of this unit?

Mine got back from repair v4.2.2 now. Previously v4.1. No purple tint screen since last week until now. They changed camera and speaker which addressed my complaint. Previously changed phone housing too. So i still think it's hardware prob.

Haha i was thinking the same selling off or what, but when i touched it again, i can't seem to let go of it cos of the boomsound....

Taken after replace the camera due to purple tint. Luckily the new camera module blue tint happens only when it is complete darkness only.

just came back, because got my phone today from repaired and the problem still exist, so went to the outlet ii bought and told the manager about this issue(red spot in the middle while in low light condition).

he said it might be angle problem and said, if i want to, have to send to check and service again, then he gave me a email of SiS management and asked me to asked for help

after that, i directly went to consumer association and fill from to complaint, staff there said since i requesting for refund have to go tribunal tuntupan pengguna and pay rm5 and fill the form(just like our forumer Jason shared)

then, i phone to the outlet's manager and requesting to refund, he said he cant make decision and have to discuss with office.

after that i phone to the HQ of the outlet again and requested a refund again, just a double complain.

i think i'll go to buy the from and fill it tomorrow

They wont refund you. GO with tribunal. (y)

Me too, was decided to sell it off because of the purple tint, but now wait the 4.3 and we'll see
Get so addicted with blinkfeed, i read more article ever since. No more flipboard, pulse, google current, though i wish they can let us customise the sources of feed.
Is there any custom rom with that tweak?

Impressed with Sony xperia z1 recently, i visited their xda forum, seems that they're having lil bit of problem with the handset too.

I would say Blinkfeed is better than flipboard but they need add more source.

They actually give me a call on my phone status and feedback...it was a surprise...and also all calls that we made to service center is monitor, they know that I call this morning....

Even if it is "fixed",
the users said the update is to lower the ISO(forced) only
We will know when 4.3 reaches us.
But seriously, I do not give in a big hope anymore

I am pretty sure the chefs at xda is cooking something new especially with the sense 5.5 update for Europe next month.
Will just use this phone as my toy until the S5 comes along

Why are people judging this phone so badly because of the camera issues?

Because this phone is too perfect that we would not like it to have any issues.
Moreover, it is really a shame if the new UltraPixel technology they introduced caused this issue
It is really a great phone after all

I didnt say "dun wan use HTC phone ever" though, I still love it.
And no, it is not a small issue, 1 of the reasons I bought this phone is because I was attracted by the ability of HTC One to snap great photos under low light condition. Who knows purple tint yang keluar pula
