Of course htc will say it's software , coz they want to sooth the customer . if they admit the problem is due to hardware , htc's reputation will be spoilt .. coz some of them are forced to send back their phone to service center .. in Malaysia , the service system is so horrible ... i think i should sell off my phone once it's back ... my repaired unit is going to come back tmr ... prepare for the worst ...
*
i can confirm its hardware problem. after repaired it is all ok, but last weekend i try run some benchmark & graphic intensive games, that cooks up the phone temperature to around 48 Celsius. by tmr i took some shot woohoo the purple tint is back, i guess the heat burn the camera sensor??

I did a benchmark on the first day i bought the phone...  hmm.gif

i purposely run those benchmark continuously until it really heat up my phone, i want to test the theory from internet heat will burn/affect the camera rclxms.gif

Do you think we could group up together and request for a perfect unit or refund ? since after repair it will gone worst or remain the same issue.
dont care if it was 14days or not ? :hmmm:

I agree, we must stick together to claim our right as consumer, i want a 100% effective product, not a lab rat vmad.gif maybe we should all meet in their service center to voice our displeasure rclxms.gif

So the purple tint is heat issue right? Thanks for making the experiment. I was about to make it too but right now I'm in college, and fridge is not provided in my hostel.
But then, I'll still return my HO to SenQ when I go back next week. I hope the repair won't take too long.

ya that is my findings, i hope few people here can try for it rclxms.gif

For those who has replace with good camera module, can you tell me if you have perform stress test Five to ten minutes on your camera? That is common, because sometimes we will take video up to ten mins in the dark. I wondering if problem will come back, then no point to replace the camera module.
*
yes i did the stess test after around 2 weeks i received my from SIS. now its all purple again vmad.gif . i will send my phone to SIS on next Monday to get it fix doh.gif
