Last weekend went for a ride and when downhill about 15-20% steep, I dun dare to ride down. Ended up pushing bike down doh.gif
Somehow I dun have much confidence on my stock Tekro V brake. icon_question.gif
Any recommendation to change the brake? If change brake, is it adviceable to change whole set or brake level will do?
Am thinking Avid FR-5. How much does it roughly cost?

Also if change new v brake, will the old v brake able to install it on old rigid fork mtb? Those bangla mtb. hmm.gif

Use my bike and park at the LRT.

have been biking to LRT for more than a month now, so saved quite a bit on parking and petrol...

I use a motorcycle lock but still I hope no one steals it.

When I do cycle to work, I use a lighter bike and park it under a table. But only on days I feel fit as its about 13 to 15 km each way, and if the weather is good.

Yesterday one of my fren hit a big stone with his Dahon Vybe and he falls down. Lucky he have his helmet on. Scratches all over his leg, hand and even face.
The rim terus bengkok and cannot move as the brake stuck by the bengkok rim. Is Dahon Vybe single or doublw wall rim? Looks very soft. hmm.gif
Lucky enough I have allen key to take out the brake so at least he can still slowly cycle back. The allen key came handy via my Biologic ARX grip that I had bought only last week. rclxms.gif
Here is my latest photo of Raleigh.

If he was using Big Apple tyres, then no need to crash, I think. Can just bounce over it or tyres just push it aside...

Dun think so. The stone was like a quarter size of brick. Dun ask me why he didn't notice the stone. It was a downhill with 20kph
