QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Aug 27 2013, 05:16 PM) How much is FSA 53/39T cost? If I change this crankset but only use single ring, is it ok? Cause Raleigh Ugo cant add FD due to frame issue. Is it worth only to use it as single ring over the existing stock Prowheel 52T? I saw your bike the other day. It can be upgraded to double crank, why not? You just need adapters for the FD. I got a friend who even upgraded his Kalaq to double cranks. Here's another Dahon Eco C7 for sale. http://www.mudah.my/Dahon+eco+c7-22234802.htmP/S. You have to used FSA cranks specifically. There are Shimano Sora or Tiagra and from Shimano there are even the 2000 series which is even much cheaper. The reason why we upgrade is because we want more range in the gear inches but if you are going to change FSA single for the original, there's no advantage except for the weight which I don't think is important for your Ugo. QUOTE(Robyn @ Aug 27 2013, 08:42 PM) My current I think is 52/39 if not wrong I think the BB should change but not sure bout chain and FD ? It might be a square tapered one and you don't have to change the BB as well. The rest can be used provided that your cranks are not abused. If it was used for too long the chain might need to be changed but this comes only after fitting and see if there's chain slip. Looks like a nice crank and rings too.

Oh, but you are looking at FSA with 53/39 which is almost identical to your current 52/39t. If you upgrade, there will only be just a slight difference in gear ratios unless you are looking at reducing the weight of the current crank, apart from the "garang" looks of the FSA..

QUOTE(samosaurus @ Aug 27 2013, 12:07 AM) That Kukuxumusu is getting really rare.. People buy it just for the frame.. Curve D3 is long gone.. Unless of you can find one listed on bicycle buy & sell in really good condition, you might want to snag it. Sam is kukuxumusu price at 2k a good buy... I can't decided between uno and kukuxumusu... both quote at 2k...

Looks like a nice crank and rings too. but my current chain capable to fit that ? because looks like the ratio go bigger then the chain need longer right ? I not sure, correct me if i'm wrong.... and i quite confuse with different chain size like for gear 9 or 10.... so in my case i remain on gear 8 chain but front crank change from 52 to 56. So chain can reuse bk ?

QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Aug 27 2013, 07:48 AM) Lock not practical for folding bike as everything is QR. hence ppl can steal everything and left frame for only. Haha can lah ... u loop those curly wire type of lock around both wheels and frame to something secure la ... else use 2 lock and make a longer chain http://bicyclebuysell.com/view_item.php?id=215003

According to Jonny, cannot upgrade FD as there is no place to mount unless cut some steel of the frame and he said not recommended to do so.
