Wah bro very sexy bike. Very different from original. How much for the parts if modify like tis? Mean shop modify plus labour estimated cost cz i duno how to modify. Wanted to get this but kena brainwash to get mu sl 2014 (damn exp) instead of tis so havent decided yet.plz give me hands on review on dahon vigor. Tq bro
I saw that MU SL there too the other day. It's nice and so is the charcoal colored Vigor P9. I can tell you straight off the mods. Buy the bike for RM2399 less 5% + 5%. That makes you a member of Rodalink automatically. I can get you the SRAM X5 shifters, RD, chain and cassette and also the SRAM Apex FD for RM720. Add in Lite Pro FD adapter - RM95 , RD hanger RM60 , Shimano 39T chainring - RM58, Jagwire housing and cable - RM30. I charge you RM100 for the installation. That's a total of RM1063.00 plus the bike at RM2100 which makes it slightly over 3K. Still 1K cheaper than the Dahon Vector P20 which is priced at RM4199 although after modding it's identical except for the color.
Also bear in mind though, during modding, I have to enlarge the cable housing hole on the body. The Dahon Vector P20 has 3 holes while the Vigor has only 2, so I have to enlarge one hole for 2 cable housing to go through.

PS/ forgot about the ride. Honestly, to me the Dahon Speed's geometry still rides the best plus also the chromoly used on that body is more comfortable. The steel absorbs some bumps while the Vector frame is Dalloy and this makes it light! Also the harshness of the bumps can be felt when riding and more so if you use harder slick tires. Seriously, you can feel the rolling over grains of sand on your handlebar which is not felt on the Dahon Speed. Plus point is, the Vigor/Vector frame is light and my bike after changing the seatpost and shorten the handle bars, it is slightly short of 11 kg. This makes climbing much much easier and also faster.
