I guess when buyers bought units here they didn't imagine that it would turn into the biggest drinking hole in Puchong!

My unit directly faces Muzeum, but thankfully I get off work at around 7pm the latest and so I don't have to suffer. Thank heavens. smile.gif

I don't have any complaints from my tenant, since my unit is facing the housing estate. What the properties owner need to do is replace the window glass with double layers & sound proof to avoid sound pollution. Living in big & congested cities, you often faced noise pollution. You can't have the best of everything. If you complaint about noises, you can opt to stay in a bungalow or landed property near the Hutan Simpanan in Bandar Kinrara, which you need to fork out above RM1.5million. The choice is yours....

R3, the best block among the 3... Mxxxxx is much much better than the others. Unplugged version most of the time.

A special Ang Pow for all owners of SW.
It is now confirmed that TNB is double billing for all the power used by individual units of R1, R2 and R3. TNB will refund the credit to JMB. Another refund for double billing by TNB for tenants of either Block K or IJ. It is also confirmed JMB is also paying for power used by some non common area/facilities of Block K. These will greatly reduce the quantum of service charge increment needed in the future - if any.

true worst place to stay
no peace
UFO ET, are you staying in sw? no use. > 15th floors is even louder
the surprising part is that once you go to the lobby you cannot hear the noise
if you read some research online, the noise gets louder the higher the floor.
those staying facing the forest may have reduced noise but still when you open your main door or walk along the corridor it just a plain nuisance with noise all over the place
sp setia has made the biggest mistake in not exercising its control over sw
if they want it this way they should not build residence blocks
just build office and commercial

yes the dj is shouting like the end of the world
if you look at v-park, they close at 1am
but not beer factory and sector 7
they are the rogue operator
their mind is nothing but money
the louder the music the more pariah people drink

at 11pm something you would have thought it is all over. the nightmare starts from 12midnight or just before where they start to play dance music
if you are not staying in sw. you will never know how bad it is
this is an invasion of privacy
even if you watch tv, you can still hear background noise

givenz you are lucky because you are only renting the place and can move any time
*
Yeah lucky thing i didnt buy here. Rented here cause i thought was convenient to reach my office which is at Bandar Sunway. If there is anything that other tenants and owners want to petition or make a strike vs the rogue pub, please let me know. Definitely will get involve. Again i stress that only 1 pub is causing issue. If these guys follow the rules of operating hours, everything will be fine. But they are just too noisy and irritating. No wonder the occupancy rate of this building is so low.

Dude if you are not staying there, then u won't understand the situation. I didnt complaint to my owner at all. What use can the owner do? Would the owner go rampage the rogue bar? Contract didn't state anything about noise pollution, i have my lawyer checked, and it really isn't my owners fault for these noise pollution. Its more to MPSJ and SW management's jurisdiction. I have lived in couple of condos before. Some my own property, some i rented. By far Setiawalk is the worst place in terms of noise pollution. I never felt so restless living in condo/apartment before. BTW no need to stay inside hutan, my unit at surian condo, kota damansara only cost 870k and is peaceful there and well maintained.

Anyone lodge complain to MPSJ before? Have they ever came for enforcement?

Any trial of residents holding banners by the roadside of LDP followed by press conference?

Get the Puchong state assemblyman or MP's assistance?

I won't stay in highly noise poluted place like setiawalk, or any other mixed development. I value my rest time very much.

True, but sometimes u got to realistic. Not many places could offer like in SW. Those buyers will need to unite. There have been some progress.

it is not complaint about noise from ldp, dogs barking. it is about noise intrusion from rogue pub operators. nobody knows sw is going to become like this during launch. even if you stay in bungalow, you will still complain if a rich PH moves into your neighbourhood play loud music party all night long. people will come out to protest when there is a new highway alignment cut through their housing area. the same with MRT, LRT alignment.

reunion dinner, CNY 1st day, CNY 2nd day still no difference. they operate as usual. bloody people behind the pubs. only on1 52 bomber can resolve this nonsense. sp setia left this shit to us. don't build residential blocks if the plan is pubs, disco, clubs. you see ioi boulevard. no residential.

now the noise is getting worse. the noise is reduced but vibrating through the building. until 2-3am. after 3am you can hear pariah people shouting. the drunkards. they claimed to attract crowds to sw. yes, this sort of people with questionable background.
sure tenants won't complain. as with police cases, not all cases are reported. even if they complain to you what can you do? reduce the rental? you will only know when they leave after their contract ends

it is really worst place to stay. why would we as residents want to install better windows when the root cause is the pub? they should be the one respecting law of business and install sound proof. will residents install better window insulation just because lrt line is passing? no! instead the operator of lrt promise to erect sound barrier. so the pub should do this rather than 600 units of sw all doing window insulation.

sw really a pariach place thanks to rogue operator. other than this it is a very good place to stay
sp setia. it is no longer live work learn play. it is play until death.

i think many do not understand the situation. commercial and residential can co-exist. but not when someone is violating it! just simple example for you.
when your neighbour blast their system next to you every night until 3am. what would you do? sit quietly? this go for 365 days. non stop. how?
this is what we faced.
pack your bag and come to sw.

even watching tv you can hear irritating vibration in the background starts from 11-12midnight until 2-3am
MPSJ raided. no use
only solution is when they go bankrupt and turn it into a dining pot as planned. a nice thai seafood restaurant where one can eat and view the water landscape.

i think the running lighting horse is a good job outside the mall
wonder whether it is our money from JMC and how much?

the grand shanghai sign is a laughing stock. no lighting so small looks like an ordinary poster
