It seems that the legal suit on bf is not on the excessive noise
It is a waste of resources on a glass structure
Excessive noise is the issue and the ugly back structure blocking R2 entrance as 2nd issue
They should be a control in the allowable noise in dB.

Since they are willing to talk, I feel we must listen first and ask them to suggest how to solve the various issues caused by them.

Yes I have just looked at it. From what we know now, we will first try to reduce deficit by first looking at reducing major costs items including electricity (as we smell a BIG rat there!) and check collection performance.
*
Congrats and good to see that JMB is formed comprising a strong team. Electricity is a major concern. Anyone even without accounting knowledge would see it is ridiculous to have electricity cost consume 50% of the total income. If you found the Big Rat, I would suggest you to pluck all the hair, then pour hot water, then put salt on it finally chop it pieces by pieces. Ok we will wait to hear more updates on this. Thanks in advance for representing us.

A123. Congratulations. I have also voted for you hope you will fight for the noise issue. It is unfortunate that some of those nominated (residents who really fight for all residents) were not voted into JMC. I think Ivan, Samantha, and few more. A123 hope you can still contact them to hear their feedback as sub-committee group.

Actually when the old JMB proposed to have the ratio from commercial and residential, I felt it was a fair statement. After that I felt WTF, most of the same old JMB were representing the commercial. I felt cheated but luckily the result was satisfactory, we have a fair amount of new faces and quality ones to represent us in the JMB.

There were others who worked hard prior to this AGM, although some were not appointed but I truly appreciate their contribution. Do not feel bad, I am sure Ivan, current JMB chairperson will still need their help and let us not limit those who are sincere in helping. Contribution can always come from outside despite from JMB.

Yes some of the old members were of great help now. We must really thank them. We will also try to form sub committees for those who are willing to help/contribute in anyway. Thank you all for participating here. There is a lot of good too in open/public forums like this.

Hi all SetiaWalkers, I suggest for SW matters that need all valuable feedbacks or good suggestion shall all combine or unified to 1 common e media such as the facebook site as a123 suggested earlier. That will be close discussion for all SW related matters in seriously. Of course this forum by Dav also a very interesting, still reserve as public talk about topic.

A123
Or wait for your suggestion for a common unified area propose later on this.

I trust JMC will work on this during their next meeting in mid Jan. At the moment we have a closed group FB strictly for all owners and tenants. However it is not a JMC supported group. Please follow link below, for those who are interested.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/SetiawalkServicedApartment

Yes I feel this davkong forum is an excellent forum where everyone can freely express their thoughts or frustrations - even anonymously if they want to. And I will be learning and looking to pick up the issues. However it may not be appropriate to release - for owners only information here.

It would be of great help, davkong, if you can post your observations at the for owners and tenants only FB I mentioned. Many JMC members and fellow residents(200+) are there. If you agree, I can post it there on your behalf if you are still in the process of been vetted to join the group. Thanks.

Hi a123, for residents feedback is good to update r1,r2,r3 noticeboard on the new appointed reps (with pic & contact). Than we decide a common place to discuss all related issues.

Anyone share regarding the assessment (cukai pintu) and quit rent (Cukai Tanah) under SetiaWalk. This is master title. Where do we make our payment? government bodies or SW office?

I agree with you. I think can get majority to agree too in next full JMC meeting in mid Jan. I feel contact is much more important than picture. Bear in mind JMC main role is to direct and oversee a professional team in FM and not take over some of their jobs/responsibilities. However when you are stuck with FM, then you should have the contacts for help from JMC.

New to this subject and owner of Trigon please go easy on me tongue.gif
not sure if anyone raised it but poor 3G connection is serious issue to me that would cause ppl reluctant to visit F&Bs, result in poor rental for the shop lots.

The poor phone and internet access have been the hot topics and almost 2 years plus, SPS still not able to solve. Capability problem. Some new malls have no issues at all. They are all aware and also mentioned it solving out soon next year in AGM. Developer dun care these as not their business to get these up in their scope.

Good news for all on this subject matter.

Digi is installing its broadcast tower somewhere around Block F. Expected to be ready around early Jan.
Maxis's some where around Block I. Ready by Feb.
Celcom expected to start installation after CNY.
U mobile also did its preliminary survey. Hopefully some time next year.

Maxis also looking into installing fiber optics. But date is less certain. Will update when I can get more info.
