hey bro, can i know how do you felt about the stock tires, does it have enough grip to tackle corners? Im asking this because I like to take fast corner, so the tires is my big concern especially during this raining season

if sure ur are hard-corner kakis, then the achilles tyre will not suite you i guess.
better looking for softer compound..if soft-conering i think std tyre is sufficient

I dont take corner fast, so i don't think I can say how good the tyre is for that purpose. Let alone during rain. Unless you're on a track, don't take corner too fast in rain lah.

for dry road, stock tyre are good enuf. cornering is mostly great.(base on EB's champiro)
when it comes to wet road, no tyres can surely save you in high corners... ;D

Maybe they didn't turn on the auto headlight?

The car comes with it and u dont utilise it, for what? its not like using auto lights will use more fuel or drastically use the battery..

QUOTE(mystvearn @ Sep 6 2013, 07:06 AM)
It is very common to not use auto headlights. The accord have auto headlights, I still use the manual because, the auto cannot turn on the position lights during dusk/dawn time. The auto lights are either full or no light. It needs to be quite dark for it to on, so I rarely use the auto light.
*
During dusk, dawn theres no use for position lights anymore as the DRL's are sufficient..

there's a time u dont need that lights auto-ON even in the dark..

Last time I test drove the Preve with Auto lights on, when driving under an overpass for a few seconds it inadvertently flashed the car in front rclxub.gif in broad daylight summore.

that will be annoying if the lights ON itself but i dont want it! there will be a condition that u dont need it!
if the auto headlight is always ON, i believe i may cuts off the wire without thinking about the warranty.
auto headlights always ON is the true annoying thing

Yep, no issue. Just that I like to see cars automatically switch on the lights when entering tunnels and basement parking.. Sense of premium...

Anyways, anyone thinking of changing the halogens to HID's since it already uses projector headlights?

s mode is sport mode for the cvt,not the engine, which causing the cvt to choose as much as low gear ratio n by doing that, not only it accelerate better and also make it faster to the engine to achieve its powerband. it wont achieve the highest speed in that mode, but faster acceleration. according to my source,it can reduce up to 1 second under 0 to 100kmh acceleration.

by using paddle shift in d@s mode, its the same coz by doing that,it put it into sat 7 speedmode manually, the preset ratio still the same,in d@s mode. but it will turn of automatically in predetermined situation to go back to normal d@s mode.

the +- in the gear lever is 4 u to enter fully manual mode, by shift the gear stick to the left, and whether using tipshifter or paddle shifter. it wont enter d mode unless u shift it back to d mode by pushing it back to the right.

dont confius s mode with sat 7 speed manual mode. s mode is still in full cvt mode, while protronic 7 speed is sat mode.
