You need to understand how an Alternator works. The higher the engine's rpm the higher the output it will produce. That's why a car needs a Voltage Regulator to control the current. There is no such an overload Alternator. Have you seen an extreme audio car with a gigantic woofer at back. How the Hell can a small alternator supply enough current for that huge woofer? That have another huge Transformer in the middle of the car that converts higher voltage!

BTW, I'm getting my Blue SS today if my SA can get it registered and get the road tax by the end of the day

When you downshifted and RPM shoots up did you feel the engine braking effect? I've never driven a CVT car before....

hey bro, can i know how do you felt about the stock tires, does it have enough grip to tackle corners? Im asking this because I like to take fast corner, so the tires is my big concern especially during this raining season

The car comes with it and u dont utilise it, for what? its not like using auto lights will use more fuel or drastically use the battery..
During dusk, dawn theres no use for position lights anymore as the DRL's are sufficient..

I dont see any reason not to use it..

Its annoying actually seeing cars that has auto lights but the headlights is turned off even at 6:45am..

Offcourse la must have option to turn off, I notice VW headlights if u leave home while it is still dark, the light stays ON even after 8 am when the sun is shining brightly already..

s mode is sport mode for the cvt,not the engine, which causing the cvt to choose as much as low gear ratio n by doing that,not only it accelerate better and also make it faster to the engine to achieve its powerband. it wont achieve the highest speed in that mode,but faster acceleration. according to my source,it can reduce up to 1 second under 0 to 100kmh acceleration.

by using paddle shift in d@s mode,its the same coz by doing that,it put it into sat 7 speedmode manually,the preset ratio still the same,in d@s mode. but it will turn of automatically in predetermined situation to go back to normal d@s mode.

the +- in the gear lever is 4 u to enter fully manual mode, by shift the gear stick to the left,and whether using tipshifter or paddle shifter. it wont enter d mode unless u shift it back to d mode by pushing it back to the right.

dont confius s mode with sat 7 speed manual mode. s mode is still in full cvt mode, while protronic 7 speed is sat mode.

and its true, not all preve n suprima has auto headlamp.

dont forget the executive variant.

if the paultan statement correct about the suprima S using Achilles ATR sport tyre...then no worries....never heard achilles tyre? ever heard formula drift malaysia? or achilles official race tyre in malaysian super series?

atleast for the price..i would say achilles atr sport tyre performs better than other similar priced tyre...
