Yepp; you noticed. rclxms.gif Fit your size? BTW, I just celebrated the depreciation of the Pound Sterling by buying 2 pairs of these from PDS:

http://www.great-save.com/f6Xowk1132950/Go...ry/p-6-91-1593/

Got them and a pair of shinpads at a steal for RM400ish including shipping. Hasn't arrived yet though.

Well, for size 10 it would fit me just nice. In fact, I was pretty interested in the Sells. But the quartz palm is more suited for futsal. Plus, with the team I'm in now, I dun think I'm buying a new glove. Right now I'm still with my Fingertip Replique, & for training I'm using my Lotto G-Force. Most proly, if I ever choose to buy new gloves, I'd buy another Fingertip Replique. I like it very, very much.

Good luck with Ur sale though. rclxms.gif

Yeah; the sells is more suited for futsal rather than football. Sells just got sold off though; still got the reebok for now. Well; if you wanna try it; you can.

Well; you prolly have better luck with Adidas than I do. The FS Carbon I'm wearing now is not very durable either.

Ermm; I intend to keep both; but subject to how they perform though. Why? Intend to get one? I'ma size 9 though. If you're interested; I may get another R1 if these pairs let me down; if you're interested, we can share postage.

Ermm; I don't think it's open to public..

Added on November 13, 2008, 2:33 pmSpeaking of which; my X1s arrived yesterday. I must say; very nifty looking gloves. After the training session; no marks or scratches. We'll see how they hold up during Sat's tournament....Good thing it's turf. Prevents the heartache... tongue.gif

U mean the MOF Sport Carnival ? Well, it's not really opened to public, but since the venues are all open, I mean, no admission whatsoever, U can just walk in & watch. This year BSN is hosting the Sports Carnival, we're using UKM as our main venue. For football, we're gonna be using all 4 of UKM's field.

The opening ceremony is on this coming Saturday, 22/11, I won't be around, I'ma be in KK until Monday. I dunno when football games will start, it's gonna be somewhere between 24th & 28th I think.

Too bad I did not know glozz were going to buy things from that site, else I would have considered getting this:

http://www.great-save.com/cnYf591171125/Sp.../p-107-108-119/

Anyhow, I definitely need a new pair of shoes for my futsal session, any recommendation? Also, where do you think I would be able to get a nice deal on Nike's Rolinho Clube ball?

Walk in to any Nike stores or even Al Ikhsan shops in KL, you may find this futsal ball.

I can't recall which is which but there's 2 type of Nike futsal ball. One of them is stitched, another is glued. I used to own one of those glued ones but its not exactly the most durable ball. Then i donated this ball to the Glozz Futsal Goalkeeping Foundation, called GFGF. Went on to buy one of those stitched ones for RM79. So far so good.

If i remember correctly, the glued ones are RM59 while the stitched ones are RM79.

Apparently; Howard hates the glued ones 'cause he claims they make his gloves wear much faster. Personally; I never felt a difference.

Har? Does that make any difference at all? I think the material used for the ball is the same, just that one is glued, once is stitched. But i might be wrong. Maybe the glued ones are synthetic, the stitched ones are probably some kind of leather. This is just an assumption.

But either way, i dont see why it wears your gloves off faster.

BTW, is the ball still working well, the one i exchanged with you? Right before i gave it to you, few glued patches were coming off and when you kick the ball, the ball takes an unusual flight and there's a funny swirl in the air.

Ball is fine. Just that it leaks air quite bad. Oh well; I've got a pump; so no worries. I hope to buy a rugby ball later on today for use with tonight's session.

Added on November 24, 2008, 10:46 amAnyway; beats me, but Howard seems to think that it does make a diff. Always insists on using the stitched one instead of the glue wan. But then again; Howard's brain is kinda "stitched" too anyways. tongue.gif

The football competition of the MOF sports carnival starts on Thursday, 27/11. Last Thursday there was this briefing from the chef de mission for the Treasury team & for the football team there was a pleasant surprise. The management decided to approve RM200 for all the players to buy boots ! So off we went to Pertama Complex to get our boots. But for some of us, including me, who dun really need new boots, we can take whatever we want worth 200 bucks. So I helped myself to 2 pairs of 3/4 pants, a pair of socks, a pair of Nike shinpads with ankle guard & a Nike shoebag. I didn't take any glove becoz there wasn't any that fits me, plus I still have my Adidas Fingertip Replique. Most of the team bought the Lotto Zhero boot, costs RM200. Some took the ever popular Copa.

Well, I dunno if I'm gonna play any competitive football anymore after this tournament. I just hope to stay fit & prepare for any competition that might interests me by playing my usual afternoon games.

Saw any interesting gloves? 3/4 pants with padding or without? Any idea where I can get 3/4 GK Jerseys with pads? I'm currently looking for a rugby ball; saw any there?
