Ap & so called Ori sets same hardware.
Diff would be firmware tho Ap sets sold mostly ady flashed to international stock rom with google playstore etc unlike China sets.
Operation wise should be no diff since having same rom.
One important thing to note is Ap set warranty covered by shop u bought. Sometimes 2yrs. Else Ori set warranty 1 yr by Lenovo so anything send to Service Center and usually faster fix.

Seriously i dont c anything wrong buying Ap as long the kedai u bought have gud after sales track record.
Mine ori coz when bought time no cheap ap avail.

Can't add contact after keying in the number? I have no issue with that, after you key-in the number three options will shown: New Contact, Update Contacts, Send Message.

Btw, do you have any idea that why whatsapp still show name that you saved in SIM card though have chosen not to display contacts from Sim ya?

Mine is still on S115, yup, mine can pick that option, after finish keying the details, I hit save but no response. After making a misscall, then only I can save that number.

Oh ya, I have another problem, I can't send sms to one of my contacts using sim 2 which is my main calling and sms line, but I can text other numbers using sim 2. When I checked back the contact, it was saved without a '+' in front of the number, other numbers are complete. Tried editing the contact, and delete and saved it back, still the same. The weird thing is, I can sms that number using my Sim 1.

You r correct... the phone will be either root already and play store flashed if China set international set same with ours... otherwise all the hardware is same same...

Usually changing screen only take 2 weeks tops.

If you can get Ori, go Ori cause AP set will have no warranty from lenovo. You'll never know when you'll get a DOA or fried battery after 1 week.
