Hi guys. From Sony Xperia Acro S to this, will I love it? The reviews on the net are not that detail, plus I have yet to try this phone. I'll miss the water-resistant feature but the large battery is promising, and I'm using two phones right now(the other phone is just Nokia 2730c).

The camera? Is there any more picture samples other than the ones posted earlier? Video samples on youtube look promising, not sure about the camera.

Okay, looking forward to try it today. Prefer to try it and hold it in my hands. The specs are great, with only the ram holding me back. My current phone also has 1gb ram and it's a bit disappointing especially when I need to multitask.

Better experience than Nexus 7? Hmmm. Nexus 7 is considered great to me,[off topic] my roommate's nexus 7 with latest CM can get 8hrs+ SOT with wifi on all the time, not sure with 3g though.[/off topic]. Will try this today and see whether I can make up my mind or not.

Already got this phone from a shop at times square. They offered quite a price for my Acro S though the price is on high side though(RM899).

Regarding this phone LED notification, it only lights up after receiving a text message and charging. Won't light up for others, why is that? Even the LED won't respond to the test LED feature in the Light Manager app. Is there any way to fix this? Would miss notifications if there's no LED light.

yup, messenger,wechat, line and facebook, and all other apps.

There are few bugs in the software of the phone:

1. You can't save a phone number by highlighting and save from the popup menu. You can key in the name but when you hit save nothing will happen. The only way to save the number is to go to contacts, create new contact and paste the number there, then you can hit save. This is super frustrating especially when you want to be quick.

2. You can't share pictures from supergallery to wechat moments. You have to go to wechat>moments>that camera button on top right and choose photo(this is soooooo like iOS. Lenovo wants to copy iOS? Later Apple sue them how? ). From gallery to FB messenger, messages, whatsapp, wechat messages, works fine. Only wechat moments.

3. Notifications LED won't respond to 3rd party apps.

4. Will add up later if I can find more bugs.

Frameroot is damn easy to use. Far easier than rooting my roommate's nexus 7. I downloaded the driver from a Russian forum, just search for lenovo USB driver.

Really? I have to download it. Maybe because I change my default write disk to external SD.

Tested with my T-Muso Dac with the trial version of USB Audio Recorder. It works. Other apps won't even respond t the DAC. Only that app.

I'm not sure. Maybe custom rom or kernel, but I don't think there's one yet for this phone. There's already custom rom for Nexus devices to support USB audio. And we don't even have cm yet for this phone. Haha. It'll take quite some time. For now,the app is the only way. If you spend most of your time to listen to music with your phone, the app will be a good buy IMHO.

The phone restarted once today when I want to reply a text message while a MMS is downloading on sim 2. Didn't have that happen for quite some time already. Not a huge problem to me, just reporting. :-)

Ps: the screen has great viewing angles, but not the LED notification light, if you know what I mean. :-P

What I mean is due to the location of the led which is under the grill, you can't see it from other angles, only from in front of the phone. :-D

No problem with mine.

I'm having problem uploading picture to facebook. Just realised this because don't really post that often on Fb anymore. :-P I'm using Fb beta BTW. Can anyone confirm this whether this is a phone problem or Fb app problem? Thanks in advance. :-)

Probably I was uploading the photo during Facebook was down yesterday. It's working fine today.
