i tested the s920 before..quite impressive and smooth..kinda true that lenovo's pricing is quite value compare to its function and spec.. have you got your p780?? need some users' comment and impression about the phone..ย

Well the phone is made of metallic material so it is heavy and very sturdy...
the screen nice like S920 but a lil smaller, just nice for our hands to hold and can operate with single hand...
UI wise i can say it is smooth and well...
when i take the phone it has 49% of battery...
after i install my wanted apps and sync some others email and chatting apps...
use mybackup pro to send my settings, sms, mms and some other things over...
until now i still have 28% more to go...
i'll go drain all the battery before let it charge until tomorrow morning...
of course what makes me wanna get this instead of S920 is the battery...
S920 i can stand around 9 hours left around 20%... this i hope it can last me around 12 hours easily...
compare to S920 stylish, sleek and big, the P780 is very old skool design but it is sturdy and elegant...

Where u got this info?
Based from experience?
I'm on MTK and was from S4 & HO. To be frank, I don't miss a thing other than better screen and camera. What I now enjoy most is loooonggg hrs of SOT.
P780 have similar chipset to what I using now A830 and therefore should not have much issue running most worthwhile apps. Again, Lenovo most likely have optimized its launcher and things alike.
I would love to get my hands on this P780 soon tho my A830 is still making me happy everyday for its 4000mAh awesome power.

agree... had S3 and Pantech R3 which has smooth UI but it cos RM1300...
even though MTK quad core chipset does not have the matching performance but it is not far behind...
my S3 is not lag free, it freeze from time to time... it is the worst Top Range phone I ever use...
most common problem Cracked Frame, tried to claim but said user fault...
had a few colleagues and frens also has this problem...
even this problem has been highlighted since Jul 2012 but Samsung never come out and admit their problem...
laggy due to their firmware and also freezing problem is also related to their poor motherboard problem...
i had mine changed before i sold it...
please ask those ppl to google for S3 issues before say it is very good and problem free...
