The game was all IPTV problems were directed to Time,TM and Maxis who carry the cables, while astro plays safe ,they are not a direct party, the burden rests on the other 3 in the event of poor services/speed! As days went by maxis felt the heat when many terminated services

As days went by maxis felt the heat when many terminated services The main problem is maxis fibre is dependent on tm infrastructure while it's content is dependent on astro's content. It can't set up high speed broadband and iptv on its own |

QUOTE(izwanikhsan @ Mar 14 2014, 04:19 PM) That's because the final mile (i.e. the connection to the end user) is infrastructure provided by TM. It's not like Maxis has any other provider to go to.Meanwhile, I'm a happy Time Astro IPTV customer. My 6mbps line is very consistent, rarely have any problems streaming 720p clips from YouTube or Vimeo. Never have technical issues with Astro itself either. |

QUOTE(DarkNite @ Mar 15 2014, 10:05 AM) How to extract a recorded video in the asstro pvr? The recorded files are encrypted and would only play on your PVR. The only solution is to plug your PVR to an HDMI capture card and record it again into your PCI'm going off for a few days and would like to play these recorded programs in my car? QUOTE(smileguy @ Mar 15 2014, 11:24 AM) During installation of my Maxis Fibre the other day, I was talking with the Unifi guys that were connecting the fibres. Seems that there are certain locations that have been "booked" by Maxis or other ISP. My own place has UNIFI backbone, but UNIFI declined me when I tried to bring the old Unifi from my old home to my new place as the new place is "not allowed by the computer system". There was no such trouble with Maxis. So seeing a Unifi Fibre box is not a certainty that you will get unifi at your place |
