Does anyone have issues with their IPTV?? I realize that during fast playback, the images are choppy or jerky. This is noticeable especially on sports channel. Try watching soccer or races. I don't think I've seen this issue with the satellite ones........

QUOTE(Anonymous34 @ Mar 6 2014, 04:14 PM) Saw you just went back to Screamyx and no more Maxis Biz 68 for you. haha AK: VOD for you then! Well if past recording is working, then it's great! Very neat feature especially you're away from your house and you're far past the 15 minutes of Remote recording! Broadband is broadband punya pasal, IPTV different. My friend's IPTV also Lag like shiat. My another friend have no problem though. Remember, Maxshiat Fiber is Shiat, with high pings/latency, same as their name. Am using Time. Anyhoo, how did your friend solve the lagging problem?

QUOTE(munchoong @ Mar 14 2014, 07:29 PM) That's because the final mile (i.e. the connection to the end user) is infrastructure provided by TM. It's not like Maxis has any other provider to go to. Meanwhile, I'm a happy Time Astro IPTV customer. My 6mbps line is very consistent, rarely have any problems streaming 720p clips from YouTube or Vimeo. Never have technical issues with Astro itself either. Am using time and I get distortions every 2-3 hours for 10 mins on all channels. Distortion as in those that you get when there's a thunderstorm but it's not that bad...I don't know how to remedy it. :S

QUOTE(munchoong @ Mar 17 2014, 04:43 PM) Call the Time Astro IPTV support... may be a problem with the IPTV channel in the fiber optic cable. There are two channels in the cable - one for your Internet connection, and another for the Astro IPTV stream. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rctx5fDKg0USample for the tearing......already emailed them. They are actually pretty fast........
