Last I heard VVIP Guest arealdy moved to Ukraine to work and plan to sell off his savvy.
I wonder anyone here driving the 2007 version, still getting flashed by cars from opposte direction at night cos the headlamps are too bright?

I'm driving the 2007 version. Upon checking my headlight against a white wall, the adjustment is alright (in my opinion). So far, no indication from cars on the opposite direction that it's adjusted too high.

still damn bright although the headlamps are aligned correctly..so decided to smoke my lamps..

cost only RM6! apllied a lot of sillicone glue so hope it won't leak.

If want to do the old style by using brute force to kopek the headlamps, should be ok...cut the bitumen paste around the area then kopek like kopeking a durian...that's the good thing about the clear cover, it is as tough as the car - won't crack easily.

If wanna be neat, the bitumen could be melted using heat gun.

The keyhole light could be DIY easily if you can recognise the wires..check out the DIY page.

Is it possible to remove the Proton logo off the Savvy's back? It'll look much nicer IMO ... but the words Proton and Savvy (AMT) should be there la ... not that I have anything against Proton or Savvy, it's just that I think the Proton logo shouldn't be that high up.

And maybe Savvy should thank Viva ...

People want to buy Viva, then they see the in-built quality not good (looks cheap).
They think of buying Myvi for a few extra thousands ... but wait a minute!
Isn't that 1.2L Proton Savvy priced about the same as the 1.0L Viva?

I'm thinking about the same, since I'm concern about FC anyway. iDSI is too much and I doubt CVT reliability as much as AMT, but Savvy is cheaper lot.

Is there any chance Savvy (HiLine) have ABS/SRS dual airbag/EBD?

Keep this thread going. wink.gif

I know Hi Line got such stuff, but browsing through Proton website, all I got is "*For selected model variants only. Also available in the up-coming H-Line variant."

Btw, any one know Proton dealer that is close in Setapak. Today I just pass by the main road searching for Proton showroom but can't find any.

Wanna test drive the AMT.

p/s: Actually after seeing Viva, Savvy looks even more promising.

I think all Proton H-Lines offer dual airbags and ABS at least. not sure whether New Savvy has EBD or not.

Try checking Paultan?

Ive checked with one of the proton dealer. The high line manual savvy costs 43k while the AMT costs 45.8k.

Of course both of them comes with Dual airbags and ABS

When can i get my own savvy.....heh

savvy h-line

ABS + Dual Airbags
no EBD...

frankly speaking for small or compact cars, EBD dont make any difference plus EBD works best with 4 disc brakes... not 2 disc / 2 drums

Umm my last question ... whether the proton logo can be taken off from the back of the car, is it possible?
