Now almost 5000km on the clock...should i change engine oil or just wait 10k km? I checked the engine oil and doesn't seems to be decreasing.
Don't save on engine oil service. Even full syn, every 5000km is good.

QUOTE
claimed warranty for my sis' savvy's front power window also. the power window button seemed to be not quite responsive. it was rarely used also. i think we need to play with the power window more frequently

Have to stress test before warranty over. Car is like that. If no problem then no problem; if got lots of problem at start then will have lots of problem later also.

He told me the ceiling price for the Savvy Sedan is RM40k..

There goes the dream of owning a new sedan < Rm30k. They should lower the price, get more people buy it then it has production cost economy, then more profit come.

the purportly ceiling price of 40k would be a for a medium line...a lite version would be introduced and competitively price slightly higher than a 660 viva...

I think it's normal. Usually, when a car hit another car from behind, the one hitting the car will get damage to the front. I think it's designed to be like this for the crumple zone. Last time Waja hit my old Kia Sephia, front kemek, but my Sephia minor scratch only.

You can always go and test again by asking someone else ram your buttock....hee-hee...since you already have so many "hits"...

Maybe nowadays manufacturer escape the shoddy material with the idea 'crumple zone'. Still prefer old days big hard bumper like Corolla GL KE70 or Nissan Sunny.

it's not about crumpled zone... it's about inertia/momentum (physics). a moving car that hits a static car will always get most of the damage.

today just went to proton service centre to reset ecu or something.
the foreman uses the diagnostic tool to run some test on AMT.
now my car feels less jerking.
Is it normal for AMT to produce "tuktuk" sound when changing gears?
i have not change to Renault D3 AMT fluid yet.

I had some parts claimed under warranty during my 1st year ownership..

absorbers, driveshafts - caused by pothole actually
glovebox lid

2nd year claim nothing except had spark plug connector leakage - solved myself - seems to be a common prob for Savvy..

Warranty had passed - getting more intimate with my savvy which is very important to find slightest abnormal thing before getting out of hand

Added on November 18, 2007, 12:36 pmI had ordered a oil drain valve nut from gjrforce. You could PM him if interested. He's selling engine oil too.

Saga's front leg rooms/foot wells definitely felt roomier..rear leg rooms debatable..

Saga is a bit wider but Savvy defintely is wider than kelisa, atos, kenari and viva...
