white savvy with r3 bodykits is sexy guys...if comes in white rims even better... but with the introduction of lite series can we ask for the accessories that are not included to be included and we pay for the xtra. |

QUOTE(gary_cheah85 @ Oct 30 2007, 11:30 AM) hi guys, i just joined your club haha...bought the 2nd savvy at a steal also...mileage only 7k otr and the car is only 1 yr old...now processing on the finance side...bought a 2nd hand Savvy AMT year 06 with 14k km on it. guess what price i bought it? comes with spoiler and full leather seat. still left 1 half year manufacturer warranty. i'm totally in love with the car, but it uses 15" rims so i guess the tyres replacement will cost me a bomb later. Added on October 30, 2007, 11:38 am savvy is getting famous for being robust, i think not much problem being highlighted so far. i'm not sure about the latest pricing of r3 bodykit, http://www.rthreeparts.com/priceWebSept06.pdf AFAIK, savvy's pcd is completely different compared to waja, wira, gen2, and neo. so no luck in exchanging rims with your other proton cars Added on October 30, 2007, 11:40 am i think he's pulling my leg best price Rm38.5k wat a joke so what is savvy's PCD? might be changing the 15 inch rims to aftermarket ones...tyres stay though... |

QUOTE(hypermount @ Oct 30 2007, 06:33 PM) No problem with the 15'' if you look at the 5th gear hill climbing test...pretty zippy with the 15''.. pcds 100...sweet...now have to finda aftermarket rims that does not exceed 6 inch in width...Now I'm on 13'' and pickup gets even better...Savvy's rim pcd is 100 like Wira's...I'm using Wira aeroback/Satria 5 spoke rims.. Added on November 1, 2007, 12:30 am QUOTE(squareballs @ Oct 31 2007, 04:03 PM) Would like to ask..my fren just bought a savvy AMT,Y the 1st and 2nd gear very sluggish? In auto mode.. again i think it needs some time to learn ur driving patterns...the first 100m of ur early running already program the AMT unit to go for a economy or sporty/aggresive driving...correct me if m wrong...This post has been edited by iman_210: Nov 1 2007, 12:30 AM |

QUOTE(gary_cheah85 @ Nov 4 2007, 12:29 PM) seems like everyone here prefer BHP, so far from what i've read from savoc.net BHP petrol contains the most additive(booster) which suits our savvy the most. i have yet to try BHP...will post out the results soon once tried.Anyone know which is the nearest BHP station in PJ? BTW i started to realize the AMT gear transition is not very smooth, a bit jerky from gear 1 and 2 probably due to usage of cap ayam AMT fluid by proton. Anyone here knows where to change the AMT fluid to D3F as recommended by renault? Added on November 4, 2007, 4:57 pm QUOTE(earl-ku @ Nov 4 2007, 03:45 PM) sadly, been waiting for 1.5 months, dont know why the loan got prob with ambank ... rejected, then tried to get from alliance, the loan not enough ... uhm..which type of savvy u ordered and which type of viva u put to order? higher loan possibly for savvy?finally last sunday, put in another booking - for a viva, loan approved last Friday, taking the car net week ... well there goes my savvy ... QUOTE(Matrix @ Nov 5 2007, 01:36 PM) I'm still here bro. mine bought 2nd hand bro...purchased at 8k mileage...barely a yr old...Added on November 5, 2007, 1:40 pm Very sad story...what do u mean "loan not enough"? Your loan amount is too little they dun wanna do ur business? VIVA sucks bro.... Added on November 5, 2007, 1:42 pm Yep, shell V-POWER is best. But the price also the best. So far, i'm ok with BHP and Caltex. Shell Green sucks in mileage....confirmed both with Savvy and Myvi. last time used to be ok wan, now maybe formula changed....who knows. Added on November 5, 2007, 1:44 pm Hmm...so far i dun have any problem with radio wor? Added on November 5, 2007, 1:45 pm Congrats and welcome to da club! btw, i wouldn't take the mileage calculation too seriously until after 1000km and first service. It'll surely improve a bit after first service. Added on November 5, 2007, 1:47 pm I believe Proton also got sell the Renault D3F oil. Just go to a bigger SC and check it out. |

QUOTE(Benjamin1213 @ Nov 6 2007, 11:43 AM) Wow thats a steal! Get me one if ur friend still has one. For R3 Spring as what the savoc member said is only lowered for 20MM that's a minimal lowered cant really see the diffrence. i guess m stikcing to the ori springs as i found them quite stiff to my liking already... with normal shell (green petrol) i can clock 370km with AMT with mixtures of aggresive driving, highway and city driving...about 14.2km/liter..
now trying on BHP petro to c how far the mileage goes.. ok for me since my alternative ride (aspirated) is maxxed at 10km/liter...but its sure a fast ride... This post has been edited by iman_210: Nov 7 2007, 01:54 PM |

QUOTE(kcy3ssm @ Nov 11 2007, 05:22 PM) memory? 11 months of memory ? i would rather call it my very own experience mate.. glad to hear ur cry bro u cant compare it to 1990 civic bru...i have mazda 1993 bp engine...and yes i admit savvy lacking th power...but it is suffice for my daily ride not churning more than 4k rpm...if every car is not built equal..and my car would have been from the lousy QC ...i dont deserve that and i should get what i paid for..thus who's the one at the lousy side..me or the Proton .... manufacturer warranty..claiming warranty a head ache..visiting the service centre and lining up another headache..listening to their nonsense and stories and lousy workmanship..another headache.. Transmission in terms of smoothness ok..i dont know what ur trying to say..but the gear ratio/lag/gear box is one of the worst I have ever experienced. Even a 1990 civic got a better transmission then this car I owned. Savvy the best driving pleasure? well I started having backache from the seat..head ache from the crying out loud engine...the steering column..way hard... So now im on foot ..and trust me mate on this...life is simpler..less stressful and aaah I prefer it more this way... P.S even if the technology they use is from Ferrari or what ever company...until n unless u use quality parts i dont think the case would be the same... P.S u might be an owner and feeling flamed from my experience..but bro this is an open forum...and im glad to share my info with u. for me the experience is overwhelming compared to a viva (small sister owned) and a myvi (younger brother owned)...the stiffness is great...and an AMT is so much fun to drive...low to medium torque is enjoyable to drive the city... urs must have been pure bad luck... p/s : i've installed the r3 exhaust and the sound is slight higher note than the OEM exhaust...love the roar between the 3-5k rpm range....FC wise...have yet to clock it...but on a BHP i did 380km with mix town and highway driving (but this was when the OEM exhaust was installed) |
