Anyway, SMSed my SA today, replied something about waiting for Custom to feedback to Bank and Insurance before can register?? Why does it needs Custom pulak? I thought this is made in Malaysia car!!!  blink.gif

Yes you need custom clearance or something, puzzled me also...one of fellow forumers did raise this in one of thread when he's getting a new car also. I remember reading one but can't find the thread.

I think 3 weeks standard process, more than that not acceptable for ex-stock cars! The SA told me is they need to clear Sales Tax with the custom. I suppose it should be a fast process kua...but u know ler, Malaysia boleh...5 minutes job of stamping a document can turn into a whole week proccess.

I sure hope i can get the car by this Friday so that i can ride it this weekend.

happy riding ..
If compared to Myvi, i was thinking savvy not suitable for long journey (4 adults) and good for city driving only.. it was a mistake.. good ala bucket seat design ,nice seat driving position (not feel like driving a van ), very stable at high speed or highway speed(110~140km/h)-not feel like driving a small car /other typical japs K-car.. it makes u smiling while driving a savvy for long journey at hiway... believe me

yea hehe still the worst driving position is Kenari's..the tall windscreen and hight seat really make you feel vulnerable..worse than a van.

My hometown was 500km away- I'm very comfortable with my Savvy..driving in long winding roads in Cameron Highlands, the passengers did not puke, the passengers in those big MPVs did - spaciousness is not the only factor for comfort..handling and ride quality do count a lot too.

haih club politics..like same thing happen to satria neo club or saga iswara.

.com.my is registered with ROS under Savoc central (supposed to cater to central region members only) but seem want to tackle .net responsibility... .net remain indie - not really wrong with being independent - largest Renault forums on the net is still independent so members from various countries can join and interact not only malaysians.

ramai yang tak puas hati dengan club baru tu...they use banner to promote their site but not thru .net, dun have link to .net... announce their own event and TT thru .net..but in the same time tryin to disassociate themselves from .net like want to steal members only... paham dah la .com already used the name and logo of .net in the end, an identity is stolen ... what is this man? even .net has a link to .com in their front page but not vice versa....

knowledge base in .net still far greater so ehm guess which site I'll spend more time with hehe.. .com is a deadplacealso

LeatherBack Club anyone? feel like wanna form a new savvy club hehe..

Yes very stupid. The best we could do is just sit tight and watch the whole process only. Some are being too strict when they getting official..more cons than pros.

Your downpayment by bank draft or cheque? I paid by cheque, thus delayed for another 3 working days or so.

Where did you get your car? Which branch/dealer?

Long journey with 4 adults...can, but where to put luggage dude?? Extra space in a bigger car will come in extremely useful. Even the space in my Myvi is just enough only when i made some long journey a few months ago. For tall people, sit at the back(Savvy) sure leg cramp...i don't think i wanna sit behind in the Savvy for long journey. At least, with Myvi, i can sit behind comfortably with loads of leg rooms to spare...and my head not hitting ceiling. IMO, the savvy can only cater for 2 normal to tall person in front, 2 short person behind...otherwise, legs sure cramp.
