Also, since PL take over, things has even been more rigid regarding a lot of policies related to bumis equity. It was more flexible during Tun's time...

Also, remember there's used to be loads of buses company in KL? Len Seng, Foh Hup, etc etc, (forgot the names)...all have been forced out of business systematically because they are not given new license....and in the end u know who take over the control of public buses now.

anyways, i lost to a stock myvi during an impromptu drag after the toll gate.

u lost to myvi is probably because u didnt shift the gears at the right RPM kua

shifted at 6000 RPM. not high enough? savvy redline begin at 6000, neo is 6200, though there are pictures of neo campro hitting 7000. but still, the myvi outran the savvy.

it's quite, zippy and manage to pwn smaller kancils and kelisa. guess i've met my match with the myvi

cannot lah, sister already bising when i reach 5000rpm.
funny thing though, after 5000rpm the engine changed from high pitch screaming (ala campro) to a growl.
oh, i was flooring, so it should be wide open throttle.

4th gear @ 6000rpm just before i shifted to 5th. then he overtook from the left.
wasn't sure how fast i was going though. only concentrated on other traffic, that myvi and the RPM meter.

Myvi is suprisingly torquey at 5th gear after 3000rpm. I can easily overtake a lot of cars easily and can feel lots of acceleration.

Maybe if you have change gear earlier, might perform better?


Can't wait for my Savvy and see how it feels.

Anyway, don't race on highway/roads. Drive safely.

haha...to be fair savvy has almost same weight with Myvi has less engine engine displacement, and the DOHC has advantage at top speed, what do you expect..maybe you can pawn him in a 100m drag but lose out in a quater mile race...so means you won the pickup race till after some distance? not bad la..

acceleration was GOOD. just that he manage to catch up really fast which creep me out since i was leading by 1 full length bus.

ahh ic....at 4th gear 6000RPM should be around 160KM/H....MYVI has better pick up i guess but u definitely will pwn MYVI when it comes to handling

yes, it's a myvi, i'm very sure of it. still has it's perodua badge on and the distinguish DVVT on the rear wind screen.

Proton can take tongkat for 22 years. Why cannot help out china-man company for a few years to reform?? Wake up and smell the burnt rubber.
