Ok, stop asking the stupid question before i go to test drive all the car, so pitty for me that even i am working in a workshop right now and no National Car in it(only italian car) Anyway, i prefer to ask question here than savoc.net as i am not very pro in my BM, hehe. One more question anyone here planning to install power window at the rear door ???? if it is possible, in the furture time i will go to look for shop who is doing sunroof! open a wide wide roof top and let the sunshine to my head ! haha!

Another question, for did you change your audio system? is the original one can satisfy you enough ??

Ask again~~ Savvy got immobilizer or not ???

sorry bro, don't have

as for the question on sun roof, i'd suggest better not play a around with the chassis since it'll sure fail JPJ ruling and it might affect structural integrity of the car.

my sister's savvy ICE still stock standard.

Savvy has an immobiliser..

Any cutoff to the starter motor when alarm is triggered is considered immobiliser already.

CAPTOR is a value added immo - more advanced type with tracking system hehe.

In a savvy, a thief still need a key to deactivate the alarm and start the car. He can't start if he hotwire the car..that's where starter motor cutoff comes in handy...unless the keyhole is easily hacked.

yup hehe many people also get mistaken..just like in the savvy manual, there's stated car will be immobilized when alarm is triggered.

One of the reason for lukewarm sales of Proton cars. Stupid SA said savvy's timing belt change cost RM1.5k..pretty hard to do some damage control among my frens trying to explain the real thing.

nel, nice to have you here.

I'm very sorry that you are having difficulty to post question in savoc.net. Most of our members are malay. So its hard for us to control members posting in BM. But our priority language is still in English. You can post any question regarding about savvy, we will able to assist to answer any questions.

regarding about the sound setup, the original speakers is sufficient to pump a good sound....just need to add a nice amp and woofer...walla your car can sound like in a disco.

For the power window as what i heard from my SA savvy power window is one of the best that they produced among all proton cars.
He says that the power window is hard to get outside in the market and it will be expensive.

Hmmm....almost any power window is better than a Wira, Saga....even Gen2 and Waja have lots of power window complaints as well.

My old 2nd hand Nissan 130Y...power window never fail 10 years plus. Old Kia Sephia...7 years+, power windows tip top and never failed.....

Hopefully, Savvy's pw is okay. And Nel, i won't bother to install power window at the back ler. Hardly ever used at the back. 2 less power windows means 2 less potential problems...LOL.

Called my SA in the afternoon also....never bother to pick up my call...he see my number dun wanna answer liao i think. vmad.gif

Friend...sub 40k car...where got sunroof. Got non water leaking roof also lucky already.

As for the immobilizer....errr...alarm is immobilizer?? I believe usually people refer to the transponder in your key which without will immobilize the car.

There's no such function in Savvy i think, maybe only H-Line.

AMT 5 speed is fun, not like the conventional automatic transmission which is boring.
