QUOTE(Rusty Nail @ Jun 7 2006, 01:15 PM)
The savvy is slow to build speed? in what sence? I've floored the savvy and reaching over 100km/h in less than 25-ish seconds everytime without fail. ofcourse, i was drag racing with that car on the highway, so gearshift is at above 4k rpm.
As for city driving wise, it's quite manageable since it's small and very responsive. however, the stiff clutch and gear stick may be a turn off for smaller, weaker-at-the-upper-body people and sometimes can be a nightmare during jams.
The only complaint is i cannot force this car to slide on dry road. >.<

huh? slide as in drift on dry road? explain more plz

slide, it's drift-ish but less much less control. sliding the savvy is possible on wet roads, though most of the time resulting to under steering. on dry road however, the car is so stable and has lots of traction till it's very difficult to slide the car even with the help of handbrake.
*
ic....looks like this car is not meant for drifting i guess...good traction make the car more safer me thinks cool.gif

9. Good Looking ?

How many of you seen a savvy before and say its beatiful design. Myvi far more better than those protons. They have L.E.D tail lights and signal lights for Myvi.

Its called Innovation, one thing Proton surely doesnt have.
*
eh brahdar ......LED lights dun make a car good looking lar!.....LED lights are not innovation lah....so many cars already using it lah before ur MYVI la ..omg...=.= ....accord and jazz facelift also got LED lights lah god damnit.....dun simply bash la....every manafacturer sure got some "innovation" one la ok? or else how to make new car? doh.gif ....anyway i think everyone in malaysia is driving hondas and toyotas adi if not because of goverment protecting Proton and Perodua shakehead.gif

10. Very confortable... - ya, suspension as good as toyota

can win V-TEC and VVTI ? u must be kidding =.=" .......and one more thing....if u compare this to toyota VIOS....the handling of Savvy is way way better than "toyota suspension"

dude....he was saying bout DVVT and VVT......and i have driven a MYVI 1.3 ....what i can say is......the performance was so-so.....about the same as a waja 1.6 but WAJA is much heavier smile.gif ......btw...having good engine performance with lousy handling is not safe......its like buying a skyline with torsion beam axle at the rear for its suspension...and the car will buang everytime it corners ....lol

there is no reason to bash a "cheap car" for having its signal placed on the left....this is just typical msian mentality...."aiya , why signal put at left side so mafan!" drive manual ah? mafan!....just learn to get used to it then it will be fine and VIVA pricing is really stupid....44k for the highest spec and its onli 1.0? i rather get myself a SAVVY H-Line which have all the safety features and a 1.2 liter engine that pwns MYVI anyway and its pricing is almost the same as the highest spec VIVA

eventhough the sales of the MYVI is a lot more than SAVVY but so what? doesnt mean MYVI is in anyway better....MYVI also outsold BMW,MERC,HONDA etc etc....but does that means MYVI is better than those brands? hell no! every car has its pros and cons....there are lots of choice out there to cater for ppl peference and budget....most ppl will take MYVI because its practical and spacious and some ppl might want a car with good handling so they would choose SAVVY....not many appreciate a good handling car though

sonata is basically still an Auto but the Ecu emulate the feeling of Manual during shift-tronic mode if i am not mistaken..... AMT is fully manual but there are robot controlling the clutch for u.....thats why u feel jerky feeling even when u are in D mode....u can lessen the jerkiness by slightly lifting off the accelerator pedal when u feel it is about to shift gears....hope u understand what i mean here

if i am not mistaken...the renault engine cannot fit AT transmission....onli MT or AMT....if u say AMT is pointless....then what about DSG transmission that is fitted on the Golf GTI....it is also a semi-auto....so its pointless too?...if i am not mistaken semi-auto have less "powerloss" compare to a fully AT transmission and consume less fuel too compare to AT

At least i evaluate the products on a fair basis based on my needs....unlike blind fanboy who's so jealous his CAMPRO tadak DVVT, tadak VIMS, tadak CPS, tadak nothing...

Bash all you want. I'm having fun evaluating and reseraching the cars.  thumbup.gif

And please try not to pirate other people's style of writing by ending with a "you know who u are". Run out of oriiginal ideas ar?? LOL.
