Mine will be grey too.

Saw one or two grey Savvy on the road recently. Very nice color.
But now a bit worried....Proton Savvy also burnt (check the other thread on this)....like Gen-2....haiyo...i thought only Campro can burn like that....*sigh*....better stock up a fire extinguisher in the car...

aiya I've been traveling more than 40 000 km in my savvy - in extremely hot days and heavy rains, monsoon, any types of surface of roads from penang to JB to Terengganu and kelantan, climbed tricky mountain path to the peak of Gunung Brinchang in cameron Highlands, went up genting - clocked near 2000 km in less than a week many times, blazing thru strong cross winds at 90km/h(that time didn't know the almost great flood was about to start to hit johor, went back to east coast lucky not the other way round to BP my other half's hometown, using LPT instead of Segamat- really damn lucky that time last minute decision to go to KL, surprisingly that day KL was brite and shiny not raining - damn strong coast wind on the coastal roads, my savvy held fine against the wind, could see the coconut trees swayed to almost 90 degree bend...and I've done ghetto mods on my car, using pvc pipes as my intake piping, using cardboard wrapped with aluminum foil as my heatshield..
This is my 1st car - everyday I start the engine many times since Dec 2005. my main workhorse - and it doesn't burn or fail me so dun worry. The incident is sure isolated one. And i dun keep a fire extinguisher, maybe should get one.

Yep...those small fire extinguisher should be sufficient. Just remember to check expiry date and change it reqularly. It doesn't cost a lot. Last time saw some....where can i buy those things? Brothers shop got ar? Tomolo might go to Brother's at Kelana Jaya for shopping...

I found a made in Italy mini fire extinguisher priced cheaper than a local made dry powder one...maybe the dry powder based extinguisher is more effective. Buy at least 2 bottles.
