QUOTE(nxx_t @ Aug 22 2013, 07:33 PM) hi, guys. just want to know. does he or she has to know how to swim to work on the offshore? thanks.. I would say it is not compulsary. But it is good if you know how to swim. During the Bosiet/Huet, for those who are don't know how to swim will have more attention from the instructor (if you mengaku you dont know la).

QUOTE(Pisanggoreng @ Aug 22 2013, 03:17 PM) only RM 2700 basic...kinda low...disappointed If u can fetch good salary at the start, it is wonderful.. but u have to set ur priority straight... to me if u r a beginner, ur priority is to get the experience and to learn as much as u can as quick as u can 1st... and then u can cabut.... Some of the lucky ones will command that exorbitant salary when they first start... but it is just a handful of them... a very minority few.... remember that.... QUOTE(meonkutu11 @ Aug 22 2013, 01:28 PM) Kslee79, Bro, i thought you are on the rotational schedule (home based). Why it go through the TalentCorp? Anyway, congratulation..Excellent package Cannot deny this industry is cyclical and very dependent on whether the company you're working for managed to renew their contracts. So, no more rotation for me since I am back to my home country. The work arrangement will be on-call. TalentCorp as I am just a regular degree holder, would require 5 years plus outside Malaysia to return and get the goodies. So, I did 6 years in Qatar, 2 in Brazil, now can balik and enjoy a bit... Then cabut again in 2~3 years time, wash, rinse, repeat! TalentCorp REP is easy to apply (can be done online), especially when you're in O&G industry since it is NKEA.
