I think Boots and Coots will only kill the hardest to kill wells and the most major of blow offs.

In the words of my American colleague, you call them, ask them for how much they want, they give you a bill with many zeroes on it and then you thank them for accepting the job.

Sitting for well control in August. Production schedule and tax time makes things problematic when asking for a week off.

Tax is involved because the ATO gives out refunds around July and because of new regulations by government I cannot claim more than 2k AUD in self education expenses unless they are salary packaged.

Well control at UNSW. They're the best here in Australia and for 3000 AUD you cover both IADC and IWCF certs.

oo i thought relating to m'sian tax. biggrin.gif

good luck bro later i wanna take il ask some pointers from you tongue.gif

For background investigation checks by IOC, they will even asked for your University transcript so keep those transcript even though you've been in the industry for 17 years heh heh heh .... They just want to see the transcript though to make sure your degree is genuine ... not to look at the horrible result because you had too much fun in the Uni .... heh heh heh.
*
haha so true.my spm n degree not that pretty but its genuine alright along with the experience (wch is growing by the day) laugh.gif

Hye,
yes I did apply online through their career website. The interview was okay, just the normal questions asked during interviews to get to know you better, personality, abilities etc etc. But really need to impress the interviewer smile.gif

Many people have been telling me that I am lucky for getting a position in Talisman. I guess I am smile.gif. But can I know specifically why? Is it really hard to get a job with this company?
*
1 word "client".

even entering petronas is hard enough(very hard for me at least) much much harder entering non malaysian client side like newfield, hess, emepmi etc. smile.gif

but, if youre an UTP and/or foreign u grad i reckon its a "small portion" easier to get noticed and get a call up for interview.
