v5 is up and running. Apologies to the original TS as v4 has spilled to 2700 posts so we need to start a new thread v4 can be found Here - Oil & Gas Career v4Malaysia is a major Oil & Gas industry player and the associated companies, be it Operators, Service Providers, Fabricators are many. Please find a nice summary of the information of the main players in the link below. Intsok is a well known organization in Oil & Gas industry and PETRONAS has some sort of an annual meeting with this organization to discuss the state of the industry Major Oil & Gas Players in MalaysiaIt is without a doubt and exciting industry and all comments/advise are welcomed. |

A little bit of everything makes a good engineer. Plus I have my BOP course at UNSW coming up so it might be useful to know a little more. |

I think Boots and Coots will only kill the hardest to kill wells and the most major of blow offs. In the words of my American colleague, you call them, ask them for how much they want, they give you a bill with many zeroes on it and then you thank them for accepting the job. Sitting for well control in August. Production schedule and tax time makes things problematic when asking for a week off. |
