One quick question, can graduate from computer engineering join oil and gas field? I'm really interested in this field but I'm from computer engineering background. Dunno whether they accept it or not

I hv applied online for a vacant post in BHI. Then, I called BHI warehouse and managed to get a direct contact to the dept's admin. I fwd my application to her, and seek her cooperation to fwd it to her boss. I try to get feedback from her last week, unfortunately no pick up & response. I am dying for this job.. Should I call her over and over? Or try to get another contact? Anyone from BHI here can assist me?

I remember a few yrs ago on the rig when a completion lady came onboard, not long to get all crews know/remember her name. When the lady on the rigfloor, roughnecks became hyperactive, most of the servicehand showed up working/servicing their tools and when someone paging her, there will be someone replying by making some kind of sound via paging system....its kind of motivates the crews..we're rarely have lady onboard, unlike other rigs working for pcsb which many trainees came onboard every year...

aiyo, can always ask colleagues to invite friends or friends of their friends for social outings.. no harm to get to know more people as it introduces higher chances of meeting one that clicks well with you if not, just enjoy hanging out with guys outside of work

My 'adik angkat' this year berfb with this one lady and then decided for 1st time nak bjumpa... the lady requested him to see her parents and he did with the intention to get permission to see the lady... 1st time jumpa, the pakcik terus serkup tanya bila nak bawa kahwin, this adik spontan tercakap, tak lama lagi pakcik on his 1st day nak jumpa tu... and guess what... next month da nak kahwin da...

My friend got married, when Gumusut is first cut steel at MMHE. Now he got 3 kids yet still no production.
I believe Petronas will never ever built Semi FPS anymore in this region.
