Any alternative/replacement for this card? I mostly use for e-wallet reload.

Possible to reload e-wallet for 1000 and pump Shell before 28th but the balance to hit 2500 after 28th only swipe?

Use ewallet as filler (no CB) for RHB VS/WM, HLB Wise, CIMB Islamic Petronas Visa Infinite, Premier cards (Maybank, UOB, Ambank etc). To get CB from selected categories or annual fee waiver.

the main aim is to hit last bite of rebate RM50+ RM50 before 28 July new CB scheme kicks in.

Hmm but my usage most is e-wallet. I mostly use this RHB for my e-wallet reload, 1000 reload and 1500 filler.

The filler can come after 28th?

based on their published t&c, FAQ example, can.
but to be on the safe side, i will do 2.5k and make sure they are posted before 28 July.

Get Maybank (Conventional) M2 Visa/MC + Amex
OR
Maybank Islamic Ikhwan Amex.

Use Spaylater to pay some (not all) Duitnow QR (ewallets) merchants.
Then use Amex / Amex-i to pay Spaylater outstanding balance.

Actually my RHB was mostly for general online spending (non-ewallet). E.g. insurance, condo fees, bills, Shopee/Lazada purchase - these can easily add up to RM2k per month. So it was perfect for its use case. Anything else that comes close?

PB VS 2% online (transaction >RM100)

Maybank M2 Amex (but bundled with Visa/MC so 2xSST not avoidable). 5% weekend.

RHB VS RM2500
Online 2% RM1500 to get RM30 CB, +RM1000 2% on Departmental/Clothing etc (Groceries/Supermarket excluded) / Entertainment (Recreational club)
Online 1% if monthly spendings>RM1000 but <RM2500.

P/S: Exclusive Lazada discount voucher to RHB CC.

It is good for time being. Enjoy it while it lasts.

If you have activated Spaylater, go to Spaylater merchants (eg Mr DIY, KK Mart, Family Mart, Petron, Guardian, Pos Malaysia including Posonline etc) let the cashier scan your ShopeePay QR (use Spaylater instead of wallet balance); or scan PINK Duitnow QR and pay (SOME merchants may allow Spaylater, if not allowed then use wallet balance ie ShopeePay to pay).

Then use M2 Amex to pay outstanding balance on Sat/Sun. Please note you can't change the amount to settle.

Some only, not all.
Eg. You can't use Spaylater to pay Lazada, Ecoshop.

so if SG, consider overseas?

I got Trip.com ... MY if using Visa. So Local Online CB for RHB VS.
Trip com KUALA LUMPUR MY

I was planning to apply this card few weeks ago but keep procrastinating, now no need to apply d. I guess procrastination also has its benefits lol

I checked my Affin account, and it is showing "US" at the end, but it is the standard price for YouTube Premium Family, which is RM 41.90.


So, in this case, is it still considered overseas spending? It is not a converted price.

The same goes to my Spoitify which is also showing "Stockholm" but the price is MY premium package price.

Should work for RHB-Shell Visa after 28/7.
But minimum spend for Overseas category >RM500
