I notice that RHB post their foreign transactions quicker than Maybank smile.gif
You can see it posted on the next working day.....

Their online statement doesn't state the Foreign Currency, unlike M2U sad.gif

SGD to RM Forex

From Visa's portal : 1 Singapore Dollar = 2.498173 Malaysian Ringgit
My posted amount yield average "1 Singapore Dollar = 2.55 Malaysian Ringgit"

Admin Fee = Approx 2.4% !!!!!

Why are you surprised? We all know that MBB Visa and MasterCard has the lowest conversion fee and other card are higher by close to 1% or more.

Back in 2011, at My Credit Cards blog, I published an article Overseas Transaction - What Credit Card Is The Best? Part II and I have showed that RHB, Alliance and UOB all are higher than MBB for overseas transactions.

But with the 5% cash back with RHB VS for overseas transactions, it is still better than any card in the market until end of this year. biggrin.gif

I hold more than 10 CCs and still get approved cool2.gif cool2.gif cool2.gif No worries.
RHB Card doesn't charge their GST as soon as the card is approved (so it seems)

RHB did a courtesy call 3 days after I've received the card.... strange but good service.
My delivery package mentioned "EXTREMELY URGENT DELIVERY" laugh.gif laugh.gif

I've also called RHB to confirm my card application can participate in their 6-month 0% Finance Charges (need topay the minimum 5% each month)
This is similar like CIMB BT 6-month 0% program w/o the waiting time of BT processing smile.gif

6-month no interest means the statement balance for next 6 months with a limit ?max RM3000 we need only pay the minimum and no finance charges?

KInd of similar to the MBF Free Credit for RM3000 for 3 years which i enjoyed since Sep 2011. The max allowed for MBF is RM3000, ie interest free as long as you pay the minimum amount and make sure the balance always not more than RM3000. ie if pay min and balance owed is above RM3k then i kena finance charges for whatever above 3k.

So just pay the min 5% for the 6 months and at the end of the period, pay all lump sum = 0 penalty?
