RHB's SMS Transaction alert for Petrol swipe does not show any amount.... interesting. Usually it would show the Pre-Authorisation amount (RM200-RM250) which confuses loads of people. It just says CODE RM0.00 RHBCards : There was a petrol txn dated 25/12/2013 on card ending 8888 at <Petrol Station Name>. For enquiries, please call RHB Bank

Getting Started

|
QUOTE(ronnie @ Dec 26 2013, 01:11 AM) Shell does accept AMEX (2%) ... but I could be getting more with RHB Platinum-i RHB platinum-i does not offer any attractive cash back or points for petrol transaction, unless you want to hit the annual target of 36k per annum just to waive the annual fee.

No points is fine... but the cashback I mentioned is "indirect" cashback from 15% Dining Cashback

If you face problems in terminating your card, you may complain to Bank Negara. However, this does not clear you of any outstanding amount.

QUOTE(ronnie @ Dec 24 2013, 03:08 PM) Bear in mind the RM50 cap will only make the actual dining spend of RM333.33 in a single month. On your birthday month, even lower at RM166.67. So basically I don't see it to be too difficult to achieve if you already spend the same dining amount "elsewhere" each month. Think about itRonnie, you really spend a lot in many areas with many different kind of cards!! I can't track as well as you do, lol
