My Shell Visa card was approved on 4th and VS which is an additional card approved on 9th. Does it make sense if I go again tomorrow to collect both? Waiting for the branch to call me seems hopeless though the officer said she will call.

any1 try for both conv and islamic can get cash back for both card?

A bit strange for RHB-Shell Visa.

(1) Bigpay system doesn't recognise it is a RHB credit card, so Bigpay may use other channels. Not like RHB VS, always go to BIGPAY MY-EC for same-day posting.

(2) "BigPay Malaysia Sdn Bhd" posted on the same day, similar to Public Bank CC. Maybe 2 different channels with same transaction description!

[2] "Bigpay MY-EC" served by RHB.
[3] "BigPay Malaysia Sdn Bhd" served by Public Bank.

[2] and [4]: will be posted on the same day.
[1] and [3]: T+1 or later.

Must top up Bigpay early for statement closing.

I have not received the RHB Shell visa credit card statement yet. But i found out that the available limit and available credit is different. Is this normal?

For example,
Available Limit: 1000
Available Credit : 980

Normal for RHB, but abnormal for other banks.

for my RHB-Shell card, they automatically block all bigpay transaction.
although i enter the correct TAC SMS but RHB still decline it, as confirm with BigPay.

call the horrible customer service number for days and finally get someone to answer the phone call, was told their system flag it as high risk and hence block.

and will restore it soon.

but same problem persist.


Long story short, after almost 2 weeks and multiple calls to rhb, everytime they will tell you it will be resolved within 1 hour, 6 hours or 24 hours (different officer diff response), but nothing at all, bigpay still non usable.

until finally i told them this is my last call to rhb, the next call or email will be to BNM, only they solve the problem.

now can reload bigpay using rhb-shell card

So every call to CS must emphasis if no action will report to BNM?

If only you get hold on them, to-date I haven't managed to speak to their CS on my phone. Only once when I dropped them email...
I wanna try midnight call next time, forgot to call last night.

I could use the card all the while, RHB Card Centre called me to confirmed the transactions.

RHB would call card user if payment transaction is made to Bigpay?

RHB called me to confirm some online transactions including Bigpay, TNG wallet, Boost etc.
Only my new RHB-Shell card. Didn't ask me the online transactions at RHB VS.

Dropped by Seremban 2 branch again and after spending some time to locate my card, they found my card and claimed just received today. Oh well, only God knows. Card was approved on 4th and I cannot believe that coincidentally it only reached today.

However, my VS is still not available and that's not so important, I will wait till it arrives and they call me only I will go again.

Then, I wanted to register for online banking, they asked if I have received any PIN. I was like, what PIN is this? I'm not aware of anything. They finally gave in and gave me a form to fill in my contact no. and I need to submit my phone bill, luckily PDF copy is accepted so I just sent it over via email to the officer. After a while, she said all done and I should receive a SMS 24 hours later, is this true?

When i registered for the OTP they never ask me about my phone bill😂

Not sure what SOP is this, first time asking for this... Luckily I have my own line and not supplementary line to anyone.

For Shell petrol, if I don't spend at least RM 800 per month, I won't get any petrol cash back right?

Yes.

Daily:
Tier 1: 5% cashback: 80 winners, cap RM15.
Tier 2: 15% cashback: 20 winners, cap RM80.

First come first serve, i think is not worth it to stay up late to spend.
