Better dont take any chance, make sure 1st swipe >RM100

Definitely open to different interpretation.
My first swipe was below RM100 but let's hope I get it nevertheless. My 5% unlimited already can cover my GST + more

True, I actually have to read the clause several times and still feel it can go either way.

Anyway, just to check, online booking made through 3rd party (hotelclub) using MYR as currency should be eligible for the 5% cash back right.

Try it and report back when your card is approved.

Already received my card today. I am waiting feedback from Miles whether the transaction will be done now or after the stay (check out). I compared the rates using Hotelclub (RHB/CIMB) and Agoda (7% MBB AMEX), they are only RM5 difference, but if can get additional 5% without forex fee, then RHB is the winner.

WHich website can we use to do online RHB VS transactions to pay bills eg Telekom, TNB etc?

I thought this can be done at RHB online portal? Refer to several pages back for the list, provided by Ronnie. I have not tried it yet.

But via RHB Portal DOE NOT ENTITLED to 1% Unlimited Cash-Back according to the email response....(BUT again CS could be wrong)

Hehe yeah, guy3288 use OCBC ti for the 5% utility rebate, or maybe you can try and update us.

so which is considered as online transactions to entitle for the 1% or 5% CB.......

The T&C says "all online transactions".. by right RHB should honour all bill payments made online eg:


1) using UOB Payonline website, can use RHB card to pay bills, insurance etc. Is RHB going to honour the 5% CB for that?

2)Similarly using RHB card to pay bills via MB2U website isn't that online transactions ?

? i received the card in July13, my quoata 4x access will expire in Dec 2013? and not lasting for 1 whole YEAR? till my card anniversary date ie July 2014?

Imagine if someone else received the card on 25.12.2013,that means he only have 5 days to use his free accesss to airport lounges??
Then the rest of the 360 days he got no more benefit to lounge....sigh..

The PPL visits validity is up to 4x in one CALENDAR YEAR (1 Jan to 31 Dec).
If you receive the card in Dec, you lose out on the benefit, unless you are a frequent traveller.

Contacted CS and turns out, I am not eligible for the 0% Finance Charges on Retail Transactions programme. Requested to be enrolled and need 14 days to know the outcome.

Just register for the 5% cashback via SMS... Though most probably wont use unless all my other CCs hax maxed their respective rebates

Creditted on Statement End Date (original date before I changed it)

AND the amount is not updated as "Payment" to Outstanding Balance

Alright, so it is at the end of the statement date.
