u can nego with resellers for Y500 ultrabay GT750m/ 170w adapter on Y500/GT750m SLI model since they are clearing the old stock. Grab it fast before it run out of stock.

u can refer to the guide in chinese website on modding Y500 ultrabay GT650m for Y400/GT650m. Look at pics if dont understand.
imo, it will void the ultrabay GT750m warranty if u modding it.

hye there..y400 gt750 user here. i'm using win.8 pro. can anyone help me out in overcoming these issues?not sure whether it is hardware or windows problem..

1. windows takes a lot of time to boot and to shut down
2. windows sometimes freeze
3. takes a while to open rightclick menu
4. takes some time to open apps (i.e email,store), but not for setting
5. i'm using tempcore to monitor my laptop's temperature. currently. most of the time, the temperature ranges from 47c-53c, and it may spikes to 70c, even during night and it is in idle . as a result, i need to run dust removal fan to control it.

PS: i'm using coolermaster u2. normal room temperature, no aircond

How much ram u have? Maybe u need to upgrade to ssd

y500 sli user here. updating to windows 8.1 now.

only bug i have is google chrome in desktop mode. the fonts are blurry. but if u relaunch google chrome in windows 8 mode theres no problem. hmm...

Is it u make safety setting? It's auto restart when reach 94c? ermhhh did not try yet but when Im play SC blacklist my temp reach 95c haha

is it true that y510p short of stock currently?? i facing problem that the seller keep delaying to deliver the new replacement to me?
last month i bought y510p but i found out it was demo unit. so i request for new replacement unit. the seller agreed but then when i asked when can get the new replacement he keep saying new stock take long time to get. it's one n half month already but i still not yet get the new replacement. any solution to this situation?
