1bought me a y510p single graphics card.. loving every bit of it!!!

Yup got it from there too. 3050. Local set. Send to service centre ask them to update my purchase date n 2 years warranty. Learning how to use win 8. Always been on 7. N just so u guys know there isnt a ssd port. So cant upgrade d.

Upgraded mine to 16gb. Hv yo usr low voltage ram. Got Kingston for 250. Is it exp? Norm 1.5 v is 200.

oppsss yea u are right.. u cant rather i cant insert an addiotional ssd with the m2 port. its just not available.. =(

i was looking for kingston only. and other shops were selling 200 or 195 at best. these are 1.5v variants.

Y510p uses low voltage ram.. so they claim. so got the 8gb ddr3 1600 for rm250. so i guess u and i are the same then.. i cant find the price list for this module in the lowyat website pricelist pages.. anyone else knows wats the best price and which shop to get this from?

go back a couple of pages.. find a pic of the laptop box. got example.. look for the letters MY on the box..

those who bought the y510p.. does the lenovo laptop bag seem abit small to you? its a pretty tight fit for mine...

Anyways those who bought MY set with two warranties how r? Mine local set still one year only. I ask lenovo service centre and my supplier register for me. Just checking bfr I start calling the supplier n lenovo. The thing that changed is the warranty day start instead manufacturing date to now the purchase date.

yup its a tight fit for me. plan to get another bag. use the lenovo bag for my old laptop.

Y510p has longer battery life. Up to 5 hours checked mine d. U got both your time mixed up.

i dunno about u guys on sli. but for my single version. if i run on batt.. i cant play games without sacrificing the framerates. meaning it will be slow like mad.. maybe i hvnt tweak the batt management settings..

meaning to say i hv to be plugged in to the power socket to play games all the time. anyways the heavy tasking process will drain the batt like nobody business.

Sienzzz went lowyat just now. Currently single gpu y510p going for RM2950. Drop RM100 cos most shops now hv stock and pc fair coming.

can any one who bought the y510p can pls confirm ur batt is which of the following?

62 Wh Lithium-Ion, 5800 mAh,
or
72 Wh Lithium-Ion, 6700 mAh,

pls use 1.35v.. not 1.5v. u'd get lots of problems later.. 1.35v is abit more exp.. i got mine 8gb for RM250.

original was already 1.35v (8GB). i added another 8GB with 1.35v..

Ala why not just pay rm50 more for a peace of mind. No harm done right? Besides lower voltage ram will somewhat increase however small the batt hours per charge ma. Really wonder dah la the original factory ram is 1.35v. Lagi wanna put in a 1.5v... its like mixing half tank of ron 95 and half tank of ron 97. Know it works cause its still fuel but whats the rational?
