Deodorant, initially i planned osaka as part of my itinerary, but after searching online many comment that it s just like smaller version of tokyo. A friend who is studying in japan said it s not worth it.
Listiani, i meant hikone at shiga prefecture. Thanks for telling me about JTB. That s just what i want, cause was scratching my head on how to get my hands on the exchange voucher after i buy online. Most website did not mention whether the exchange voucher will be in softcpy via email or hardcopy to be sent via normal mail, which i do not have time to wait.
From tokyo to hiroshima requires changing at shin osaka. My reason to stay overnight kyoto was to leave luggage at kyoto so we wont have to drag luggage around, but i m still thinking. I saw online ther are some ryokans in miyajima? A traveller post mention about the view on the island once all the day travellers went back to mainland is fascinating.

You can use luggage forwarding service to send your luggage to other hotel without bringing it along

Remember, From Nagoya to Kozoji Station (Chuo Main Line) or Okazaki Station (Tokaido Main Line) are JR Line. Your Jr rail pass will cover.
From Kozoji Station / Okazaki Station to Mikawa-Toyota Station by Aishi Loop Line will be Private Line company. Not cover by JR Rail Pass.

You can leave your luggage in any major train station. Some of them can fit 2 fully loaded 45L backpacks.
edit: I meant to say "coin locker"

Bro, me and hubby bring only 1 big bag & small hand carry. The big bag size is 70cm long & 50cm width. Is the locker can fit in that big bag? I read somewhere (can't remember where) the storage can only store small & medium size luggage. quote=RegentCid,Sep 18 2013, 03:12 PM] Aiyaa... The Link I give you was Nagoya Station. QUOTE(mat sputnik @ Sep 18 2013, 06:59 PM) RegentCid wear t-shirt only. Ask him. November to March, I wore only T-shirt but under a thick Japanese DOWN jacket, but not recommended for slow walking inactive people. Need something like hood, hat, scarf or muffs to keep wind off ears. Too many heavy layers cause sweating which may re-freeze and very inconvenient to take off and put on again when you go indoors for train or shopping. Will your shoes fall apart when soaked in rain and melted snow? Lockers: I've always wondered -- can you leave things in there overnight or a few days?

Lockers are emptied by station staff after three calender days.
