I suggest you wear wool such as wool socks, wool sweater/jacket. Wool can keep your warm better than cotton in cold weather like winter.

but we are just talking something that is about 0-10c Lol

The fleece sweater only can sustain temperature above 10C. Once temp dropp to 5C and below, you really need down jacket.. The uniqlo light down jacket posted by mat sputnik one of the best.. I got it for ~RM249

Can i just wear long sleeve shirt and a sweater laugh.gif laugh.gif

I'm on a tight budget doh.gif doh.gif

but if you think that the fleece is necessary, then i have to go with your advice wink.gif

Your info put Berlin. then you should know how come is around 0 -10 C

On Winter not the snow or around ambient temperature killing you.....is the wind. The most critical thing is wind. A chill winter wind blow on you that temperature on that wind might be around - 2 to -5.

Hi guys,
I just booked my RomanceCar seats from Shinjuku > Hakone-Yumoto today. But for my return trip, I only plan to take the normal train which is included in my Hakone Free Pass.

Do I have to book my seats in advance or I can just go to Hakone-Yumoto station and hop on to the train back to Shinjuku?
Please advise.

Thanks in advance smile.gif

When is ur trip? Those Seat reservation only works in few month. Normal train mean those like local train....u no need reservation for local train. Plus it stop every station. Like our KTM Commuter. You might need standing if full of people. ( this chances are very rare but from Odawara to SHinjuku if alot people you might need to standing)

If you take normal train...From Hakone Yumoto only goes until Odawara Station which is Hakone Tozan Line. From Odawara Station you have to swtich another local train back to Shinjuku which is Odakyu Odawara Line

Whole Journey by Local Train cost you around 2 Hour est.

Thanks for the info RegentCid.
My Hakone trip is on the 20th of Oct 2013. Exactly 1 month from now. The RomanceCar online reservation only open their seat reservation 30 days before the departure date.
Even with that, most of the good seats are taken already. Hahah...

hey guys, which ski resort (shiga kogen or kukatsu kokusai) would be the best to experience snow-boarding in Japan? This will be my first time snow-boarding so a more beginner friendly place would be priority.

You guys all wanted is answer....totally no try search any info at all. If you guys have do some homework. The question you ask won't be like that.

Example... shiga kogen or kukatsu kokusai which more better? WTF is this? I bet you not even know where is this 2 placed located.

All you want is direct answer without doing any research at all.

IF you do some homework you guys will know shiga kogen is most famous and most near to Tokyo....the travel budget will be most minimum because so near to Tokyo ...It also mean it the most people visiting during winter

U guy will state out this reason....I will know u have been done homework...I will give u even more detail info and advise.

I already told u guys direct answer about Tokyo Banana and Kitkat, And you guys reply this answer : Banana ? kitkat izzit same as malaysia?

WTF? you not even want google it what the Fxxx this Tokyo Banana and Japan Best Kitkat in the world.
