Hello!! Brother. If you are scare to travel to Japan, it is your choice. We want to travel to Japan regardless of mutation, radiation & what not. So pls respect people's choice. There's no need to be sarcastic and all. If we choose to die in Japan, it is our decision too, who are you to decide what is good and what is not?

QUOTE(Brandonn @ Jul 7 2013, 11:55 PM)
Was actually expecting your views and something more intellectual than that.
Perhaps you are not ready.

I went to JTB office 2 days ago enquiry about the JR Pass. They suggested me to take the 7 days JR Pass. Cost?? JPY28,300 & that approximately RM1000. I change RM to Yen yesterday & for RM4000 I got JPY124,000. JPY going down a bit.

I 'm still finalizing my itinerary. So many things to do so many things to see but so little time. Hehehehhehe!!

My husband wants to go to Toyota plant but I couldn't find any info on the site. Can you help me?

I don't intend to spend so much time in Disney. Probably 5-6 hours. We plan to visit there around 1pm & return at 6pm. I not really into theme park. But my husband wants to see DisneySea otherwise I would have skip Disneyland.

For Mt Fuji & Hakone, how can I combine this 2 places?? I can't find the link for transporation.

Disney need full day, half day not enough. I think u should arrange Hakone and Mt Fuji together cos they are closer. Not go Mt Fuji then back to Tokyo then go Hakone later.

If in Hiroshima, can do Mazda plant -- quite good free tour, but must book online first, take the English one:

My husband prefer to go to the plant. He is not interested with the so called theme park for Toyota biggrin.gif

I found the website but there's no menu for contact. Funny website.

QUOTE(deodorant @ Jul 12 2013, 01:26 PM)
There is Toyota Megaweb in Odaiba. It's not a plant, it's more like a ... theme park (for lack of better description). Might be a good compromise if you are not interested in touring an actual plant.

I know I cannot cover all but again as my earlier posting, I don't like theme park. Not my cup of tea. Just look around especially DisneySea & off we go. We did the sme thing in Disney Hong Kong. Spend 2 hours only then we left.

We will purchase JR Pass for 7 days usage & want to make use of it as much as possible. I don't see anything wrong with that.

U maybe the otai for Japan but it doesn't give you right to belittle my plan/itinerary.

You want to give advice, fine. But there's no need to be sarcastic and all. You know how the phrase goes. If you have nothing nice to say, shut your mouth.

On another note, you are not the only person I can refer for Japan trip.

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Jul 12 2013, 02:40 PM)
It's your money ...ok.
People here seek my advice to re schedule their plan to maximum money per value to their vacation.  You don't want then .....your freedom.

Better than nothing because the Toyota website does not contain any contact to book a place.

QUOTE(mat sputnik @ Jul 12 2013, 02:50 PM)
They call it 'museum tour' but you actually get to visit the assembly line too.

Btw your 7-day JR Pass pays itself easily with your Tokyo-Hiroshima-Kyoto shinkansens. The non-Nozomi trains are pretty quick too.

Hi,
I'll travel with my family to Kyoto in October. As I know we dont need visa since 1st of July 2013 as long as we holding a new type of passport. How is the immigration process in airport? Do they ask a lot of question? Do we still need to bring the copy of bank deposit, letter of employment, payslip etc? Any one travel with baby before in AA?Since they not allowed to bring any fluid inside the flight, do they provide free hot water to make milk?
This is my 1st time travel with baby.

Not really. I change some RM to Yen early July. For RM312 I got 10,000 yen.

QUOTE(teng_08 @ Aug 16 2013, 09:58 AM)
Just exchanged some Yen yesterday. The rate I got was...
RM 332 = 10,000 Yen

Pretty good rate I guess?

How big is your luggage?? Yon can put your luggage at the train station luggage storage for a fee. But not for big luggage. Only for small & average size luggage.

QUOTE(shinchan99 @ Aug 16 2013, 08:54 AM)
Was thinking to travel from Osaka to Hokkaido for few nights, but do not want to bring big luggages along.

1. Leaving it at a hotel, do they charge?
2. Or is there any alternative where we can store our big luggage by renting some luggage storage areas?
