Yes , JR Rail Pass cover her from Shin-Osaka Station to Osaka Station to Nishikujo Station then to Universal City Station.  What if she want to go other place?   She still need one most important pass.  JR rail pass in kansai still a rubbish pass.
yes it cover....refer upper reply
*
Haha, but she say only go to USJ mah, never say if want to go other places in Kansai.

Anyway, if she's only going to Kyoto and Nara then the JR pass should be enough la. Kyoto 1 day Bus Pass is cheap enough.

*edit* Actually scratch that, sounds like she's ONLY going to USJ.

I already checked from the website and found that shinkasen to osaka is very expensive, this is why i consider to purchase the japan rail pass. i know the 5 days "Seishun Juhaici kippu" ticket covered most places in town area, but didnt cover shinkansen. That's why i am not sure whether to buy the japan rail pass or not as i am planning to go osaka for universal studio, hakone and disney sea. the rest of the day will be staying in tokyo. I have checked with the transportation info provided on pg 1, but i can only take tokyo monorail and reach in Hamamatsucho only, after that no more subway or mrt services available midnight.  really need all sifus' help here. Thanks in advance first.

Honestly, don't bother going to Osaka solely for USJ la. Either focus on Tokyo + surroundings or focus on Kansai area.

In both cases you won't need the JR pass. For Kansai you'll get the cheaper pass that RegentCid is talking about (go do more research).

Hi, I am going to Japan on december this year(my first time) and i have few questions to ask, hope that all sifus can guide me. Thanks in advance.

1. i will reach Haneda Airport on 29 dec at 11.30pm in Japan by AA. I found that it doesn't work on monorail and subway in japan as all close by 12midnight. i have searched the late night limo bus and found that only certain routes on certain hotels. I plan to stay in Horidome villa(5 min walk to Ningyocho Station--Hibiya Line). Can anyone suggest me how to get there during midnight? if can avoid taxi, it's better cuz wanna cut cost.

2.I plan to go to Osaka Universal Studio. so, i found that if taking Nozomi shinkansen will be around  14,000yen per trip. but if i purchase Japan Rail Pass which stated is unlimited rides(7days), i can't take Nozomi as it's not cover by Japan Rail Pass,so i need to take hikari which the Japan Rail Pass covered. It yes, it's still worth it to purchase the Japan Rail Pass, right?

3. i will be going to hakone for mount fuji view. will it be nice during december? It's stated in hyperdia by SHINKANSEN KODAMA and Hakone Tozan Railway. Is these cover by Japan Rail Pass?

4.i will be visiting places like shibuya, shinjuku, akihabara, meiji shrine, tsukiji market, asakusa area, is this cover by Japan rail pass?

Hope someone can guide me here as I am quite confusing with the route that cover by Japan rail pass even though have read on website. Thanks in advance first and hope someone can help me. Thanks a lot and appreciate it.

There have Midnight buses to TCAT terminal which is just ~800m away from Horidome Villa. Yeah I stayed there last time. I managed to catch the last cheapest bus to TCAT and thereafter just walk another 800 to the hotel.. Under the cold weathwer, walking 800M is easy biggrin.gif .. If u miss this last bus, they still have Midnight surcharge buses to lotsa destination for sure but you will be paying extra-lah. Do check pg1 for mignight buses

As to the JR Rail.. There are many MRT operators in Tokyo.. atleast 6 or probably more..Your JR Rail only valid for those lines under JR Rail networks.. (You have to google which one).. you cannot use it on other private operators for sure.. This is the bad thing about taking MRT in Tokyo.. this reminded me of the previous KL LRTs where different operators & diff lines, you have to exit & buy new ticket

Disney need full day, half day not enough. I think u should arrange Hakone and Mt Fuji together cos they are closer. Not go Mt Fuji then back to Tokyo then go Hakone later.

I don't intend to spend so much time in Disney. Probably 5-6 hours. We plan to visit there around 1pm & return at 6pm. I not really into theme park. But my husband wants to see DisneySea otherwise I would have skip Disneyland.

For Mt Fuji & Hakone, how can I combine this 2 places?? I can't find the link for transporation.

There is Toyota Megaweb in Odaiba. It's not a plant, it's more like a ... theme park (for lack of better description). Might be a good compromise if you are not interested in touring an actual plant.

I found the website but there's no menu for contact. Funny website.

I know I cannot cover all but again as my earlier posting, I don't like theme park. Not my cup of tea. Just look around especially DisneySea & off we go. We did the sme thing in Disney Hong Kong. Spend 2 hours only then we left.

We will purchase JR Pass for 7 days usage & want to make use of it as much as possible. I don't see anything wrong with that.

U maybe the otai for Japan but it doesn't give you right to belittle my plan/itinerary.

It's your money ...ok.

People here seek my advice to re schedule their plan to maximum money per value to their vacation. You don't want then .....your freedom.

Wah, this one really high class, pay so much to enter Disney HK and then leave after 2 hours.

They call it 'museum tour' but you actually get to visit the assembly line too.

Btw your 7-day JR Pass pays itself easily with your Tokyo-Hiroshima-Kyoto shinkansens. The non-Nozomi trains are pretty quick too.
