Some poison for RoadBike. rclxms.gif

Frequently Asked Question on what kind of bikes to get:

1) Aluminum bike - 10 speed Tiagra (maybe mixed Tiagra - Sora), priced around RM3k up- this would be the absolute lowest point i would say to start from... any lower and you will land outside of 10speed equipment and any upgrades will certainly be more than the difference you saved not buying this bike.. shimano launched tiagra with 10speed beginning of this year making this a considerable choice... also, this grade of bike will have a more common grade of cockpit (handlebar, stem, seat post, saddle) and cheaper wheels

2) Aluminum bike - 10 speed 105 (maybe mixed 105 - Tiagra), priced around RM3.8k up- most likely the same frame above with a different paint livery, this would be an entry level into shimano's definition of competition components... tiagra would be what they called the top tier among the enthusiast group.. although both 10 speed... but materials and feel... tiagra has a shift indicator while the 105 does not hence giving you a pro feel (what the bike shop will tell you)...mostly.. tiagra has a bit more plasticky bits than 105... some slightly more expensive models might even start offering slightly better wheels like mavic aksiums along with better slightly better graded cockpit...

- i would not try and go past 105 on a aluminum bike... the best brands like specialized or bmc will be selling an aluminum bike equipped with 105 for a little over RM5k... going 1 notch up into ultegra will lead you to start looking into higher end bikes as those bikes will surely creep past RM6k and most likely a mismatch between frame and component grades... you will be practically trying to pair a set of RAYS CE28N onto a Perodua Myvi if you get what i mean in car terms...

3) Carbon bike - 10 speed 105 (possibly not full 105), priced around RM7k up- this would be a foray into performance bicycles... although a carbon frame... but this are not the best carbon has to offer for 2 reasons... carbon cloth grade (less modulus, less weave, lower grade binding agents) and the man power / time needed (less complex layup schedules) to layup the carbon layers into producing a frame... basically a mass produced frame with the lowest production cost possible... not all that bad... it should still be on par if not better with the best of the aluminum frames in terms of stiffness.. basically, component should be similar or slightly better than the aluminum 105 bike depending on the price you pay...

- here i would name one which shocked me quite a bit recently... saw this Look 566...this http://www.lookcycle.com/en/int/route/velo...-bike-2013.html , but i guess a previous year model...... carbon frame with Mavic Aksium wheels... not a complete 105 with some downgraded cranks and calipers... a carbon frame with comfort geometry retailing for RM7.1k if my memory serves me right...

- price is slightly high for some people... but if you look at it...maybe under 30% more if you are looking at a Apex or 105 equipped Specialize Allez

4) free for all - death - bankruptcy - you name it...
- step into this and there will be no return...

Beside on the modern roadbike, there's also classic roadbike that worth to consider, if you're classic roadbike lover.

at best, this is considered a classic remake...

with columbus tubing at least... if there is any chance that anyone still makes a bike with reynolds 531 tubing, even better...

it has to be small round tubes and lugged in order to qualify as classic...

hope you all have good discussion on the wheelsets....

rules are rules, once hit 2,500 posts have to move new house.

i dont think i wanna upgrade my wheelsets liao after reading all these comments. "***run-crying***"

if you want test ur new wheelsets efficiency, aerodynamic, cut wind or not, loud sound when standing climb or not and etc etc, challenges are welcome to beat golden rim and spoke stock X1 wheelsets.

was in the midst of replying minizan and got a message saying thread locked ... that was fast ...

@minizan

I wasn't planning in getting anything fancy from greg/twe. Just something more reliable than my current wheelset. He recommended dt swiss spokes with alu clincher, which came up to slightly less than aud 800. Too expensive for my taste so got something from pro-lite instead which was half the price. Maybe when I get fancier bike like carbon/titanium which i don't use for commuting I'll think of getting something from twe

800AUD??? that is velocity pricing already...

commuting use some cheap wheels better lar... if you want, spend on a pair of race wheels and get an additional cassette and tires to go with it lar...

i think better that way in your situation...

yeah definitely agree .. hence why I didn't go for it, plus it was way over my budget. The pro-lite was only 300+ aud and so far I'm loving it; not like I have anything else as a comparison other than my stock wheel

actually the problems with wheels is always a struggle for performance vs reliability vs price...

you can't have all of it...i prefer to have reliability over constant heartbreak even though the wheel is fabulous when ridden...

how i wish we have pro-lites over here... there is a couple that actually tickles my fancy...novatec also has a couple of wheels... but not sure if they have presence over in aussie...

actually... roach would not survive a nuclear blast lar... unless they find a hole so deep they can climb in to avert the blast...they are very good in surviving nuclear radiation though...

http://dsc.discovery.com/tv-shows/mythbust...r-explosion.htm

as myth busters tested...

so, unless you want to go to fukushima daiichi and ride your bike through the nuclear waste storage tanks... i don't think a roach hub would make any difference...

sure or not wider wheels harder to start spinning? being wide has nothing to do with it. what can make the difference is the mass of the rim coz u'll have higher inertia. anyway, how often do you start/stop? let's say a 100km ride, u only start/stop at most 10 times. wider rims will achieve lower rolling resistance.

alberto contador did say he does not expect to win dauphine as he does not want to overspend his team...the next few days will include some climbs... it is a case whether alberto want to show his cards on the climb... but it is also down to how team sky will control the race... i believe team sky is now stronger than saxo bank...so, if they just punch the accelerator halfway from the stage and wear everyone out... then it is hard for alberto to launch attacks as he will not have men to pace him up before the last climbs...

rodriguez will be hard to guess as we can't see his motive in dauphine...

i think he meant acceleration lar... like if you want to sprint away whether on flats or climbs... then the 404 does feel weighty a bit... but that is comparing it to 202 lar...

but if you take 404 and place it on fast flats... you gain the continuous rolling momentum once you get it rolling...202 loses it fairly fast on those stuff...

Yea, there's a huge event happening in Penang on the same day. Ours is just a fun ride to raise cancer awareness among the public. Can help us to spread the news among ur frens so that those interested can come and support our events and bring their families for health check up as well =)

the bad thing is that it will not be compatible with all crank arms..

so, it is either you are forced to buy a non rotor crankset and change the rings or you buy the complete crankset from rotor....which is like RM3.5k ++

and the mechanic also has to know the product installation and setup very well or it will be dodgy upshifts and always encountering dropped chains even though it comes supplied with a chain catcher which is a must on the oval rings...

usage wise... some people think it's hocus pocus shit while some people swear by it... you will only know once you try it out... it is a very funny feeling though and for me, personally i felt that it compromised rear shifting a bit as well.. i tested a bike with SRAM Red fitted with a full rotor 3D crankset before...it is a slightly different feeling especially during climbs... somehow feels like your tempo is a bit messed up for some reason... maybe it needs some getting used to...

eh BH, mainstream brands lace their spokes radially @ non-drive side. how come urs which are laced the same, patah?
*
the problem with mainstream brands is, it also patah for me mar... i jus didn't learn my lesson with this current wheel...

FR7, patah both sides randomly
Xero XSR-1, patah non drive
SRAM S27 AL, patah non drive (and non-drive is actually 1 crossed, radial on drive side)
Mavic Open Pro laced to FH-6600 3-cross both side... the only one never to had a problem

i start to think i could be in a movie called broke spoke mountain...

ei dun ask me.. i ride bike like it was meant to be ridden...ask the manufacturers...

i am jus destined to be a wheel killer...actually... bike shop doubt me when i showed interest in FR1... the answer i got when i asked for the price was... "replacement spoke is very expensive for this"

spoke head patah... cabut from flange... i think you google it got quite some complaints one...but then i think shimano imposed a rider weight limit on their wheels lar... there is just too much fatso out there or they are too optimistic with their wheel designs...

actually the worst was the SRAM S27... killed 3 spokes in 1 month, 1 each week (i suspect it is the nipple that could not handle the twisting lar)... by the time 3rd spoke was f@ked.. they ask me to leave it there so they can claim entire wheel... after a couple of months waiting... i got bored and took it back with 4th spoke in and sold the wheel off at less than half price

my xsr-1 also very long lasting... more than half the spokes on the rear wheel have been replaced and the brake track also became concave...i had to give it up because the nipple ran out of threads and the spokes was too lose to be tensioned any harder...

actually i think my XSR-1 was even worst... paired spoke design... the wheel runs so much if the spoke breaks that i have to fully open the release lever for the rear calipers...

i own the FR7 too and that was 2:1 as well.. didn't felt that bad compared to S27 and this current wheel...

but then again.. most low spoke count wheels are generally going to be very bad if they break a spoke...

Mavic Open Pro, dented the rim when i crash hitting a water filled pothole (tragic death, but axle was bent before that anyways))
S27 sold off
XSR-1, rear still at home, front dented when crashed with the open pro
FR7, sold off

Under RM2k might be a toughie...

Try to look for Giant, Merida or even Polygon... polygon is the most likely chance for under RM2k... they have some last year bikes that could still be going for sub RM1.4k if they are still in stock...dun hope for much fancy ones though...

http://www.baikbike.com/bicycle-shops/

Merida - Pedal Spot
Polygon - Rodalink or their dealers
Giant - JBS Bikes

Let say I am over thinking about a pair of aero wheel 35 to 50 mm deep........before you star typing "dafag" please just let me drown in my indulgence and at my own peril.
So FFS... please throw some names to the following characteristic and qualities the best there is in the current market.
tongue.gif This is like a poll on how best to get Vinn_ann ed and take it where it hurts........ everybody can try!

Could be one or more names whether it is a full carbon or not, it does not matter.

Brand image?
Looks?
Performance as a all rounder?
Durability as an everyday wheels?
Others can be added if you like.

First of all before any UN-DAFAG your do not DAFAG's...

a very big fat DAFAG!!! wat is ur question?

manyak lar choice... depend on whether you want to buy in Malaysia?, order via internet? fly to US to buy?

Without considering limitations you ada banyak choice lar, from Zipp, Shimano, Corima, Bontrager, HED, Specialized (if you trust their roval wheels), Fulcrum, Campagnolo (shimano freehub converts), Reynolds, FFWD, Madfiber, Lightweight, Easton, Matrix, spinergy....

if you want special, Corima Winium or Aero MCC or (Winium front MCC rear combo) is special lar... paired spokes that looks a bit like rolf prima and super low carbon spoke count... price also special of course

http://www.bicyclebuysell.com/view_item.php?id=151180
it's so special people keep letting go of it in the 2nd hand market for some reason... exclusivity yo!!! if you have a set... cos no one rides this shit...

else, you can also get the Bontragers which i think Treknology sells...got white spokes on their aeolus 35 and 50... looks nice when spun up...
user posted image

cakap performance is waste of time lar (you know, i know)... we dun have first, second or third hand experience riding all this wheels if not any of them at all... so any talk about performance is batshit crazy c0ck story only...you can only gauge the brand, looks and how it looks on paper specs from here on...and we all know that shit is very individual... like you like yufa, i like my chicks from the land of the rising sun and lil likes his chicks with smelly armpits and other weird stuff... each to their own lar...

nothing that i list is much of what we can afford...those things are equivalent to the total price of 50 or so tenga's leh... lifetime use you know???

others is as they put it.. syiok sendili lo...

but for me... look wise, i would splurge my 50 tenga's after i realize a miscalculation, i realize it is more like 100 tenga's worth of money on the corima's... no freakin joke or a dog would come and bit my fishballs...

and if you have the balls... you can also buy some 2nd hand Lew Racing Carbon Boron VT-1's... it is so rare now that the lazy panda's that does not want to f@k each other in china is outnumbering this wheels... cos the owner who is a f@king knuckle head put his hands up like a french surrender monkey and left the company he started like it had syphilis and went to work for Reynolds wheels division and make that weird rear wheel that looks like it had 3 hub flanges...DAFAG izit with tat?

thanks to him, things went flip sided and gunther mai now has no after sales service custom made crazy shit light VT-1's for his 3KG bike now....doesn't matter since the bike was being sold to become a prostitute for fairwheelbikes anyways...

To seal it, proves your prowess to them without me going into the details.Cyclist's powdafu quads is a plus!

Miao, hypothetically speaking, suppose Specialized decide to make it up to you for reasons you think are justifiable by offering you a RM8K voucher for a set of Wheels applicable to every dealer locally.
So which wheel set would you choose, the first that comes to mind!.....and please, no 'dafag, don't understand' line precede to what you think.....k? laugh.gif

cracked eyelets? i know...but not to everyone

you are not supposed to tension high spoke count wheels so high since the tension is quite equally distributed across all spokes

Miao, hypothetically speaking, suppose Specialized decide to make it up to you for reasons you think are justifiable by offering you a RM8K voucher for a set of Wheels applicable to every dealer locally.
So which wheel set would you choose, the first that comes to mind!.....and please, no 'dafag, don't understand' line precede to what you think.....k?  laugh.gif
*
haiyah...rm8k wheels is never reliable for starters... it is considered race wheels adimah...once you get past that fact, it is very evident to you that the remaining criteria is going to be inevitably just looks and performances...

so it boils down to the simple choice of zipp for the mainstream belief that it is the best yet affordable wheel so far

or

some corimas, rolf prima (fly out to buy, travel cost eat up budget), lightweight (not possible within 8k), just for looks and don't consider anything else, not crash replacement programs, not wheel stiffnes, not aero performance...so the logical answer for plain looks is corimas

you know what??? that is just like asking if my girlfriend will get pregnant if i pull out right before i ejaculate???

technically even if we know that the answer is no, but there is still a chance that it will rain meatballs

that is how complicated to answer that question of yours

you meant wear the pads down? the exalith grooves as i read is very abrasive to pads when new... once seasoned they provide nice stoppind power coupled by acceptable pad wear

the exalith grooves are the jizz bomb...it is the thing to have, it is the bringer of pain to all carbon clinchers, it is the kryptonite to all lightweight carbon tubulars, it is the inevitable doom to your bank account, resistance is f@king futile

Abang-abang sekalian. I need some opinion and recommendation. Lately, I've no time for group ride with my friend. So for safety reason, I'm looking to buy indoor trainer to maintain my fitness. So based on my friend recommendation, they advice my to buy a roller. Izzit a good moves for newbie like me or should I choose trainer instead?

I've done a quick study on the net and survey at my lbs last weekend. As budget constrain, my bucket list just stuck at some unbranded roller, Minoura B60-R, Giant Cyclotron II Mag and few other which I cannot recalled. Is there any good offer around Klang Valley for indoor trainer?

but, that is the most surefire way of telling them off for once and for all...with the exception of some roaches that miao can conveniently use them to build his hubs later on if he survives the nuclear blast and radiation and has yet to morph into some mutant pus-sy...

well, just because you cannot afford a trainer doesn't mean you should settle for something that you might not be able to utilize properly right???

like you can't afford to buy a blu-ray player... takkan you settle for a VHS tape player mar... wats the point?

save up a bit and get it later would be a better solution... better than buying now with tight budget and than have to get another trainer down the road and leaving this aside...

mac wai was on an anti-driver's campaign my... i was just telling him about how to make it more effective only mar... riding naked on the streets would be drawing more attention of the people that they hate out just to stare at them isn't it?

and my solution leads to multiple scenario's and one including the materials for your roach hub build...

there are lots of other things to consider and beware of like for example the psychological implications and complications of using tenga's or the possibilities of protection breaking when having sexy time or problems getting replacement parts for an SL3 before buying it, or the looks on your face when you crash your sexy carbon woven piece of no good wheel into a pothole and even better when it actually develops some cracking sound after it...

yet, we all do it irregardless...buy first think later should be the motto (for today at least) as mac wai says... life is short and you have to go do stupid things...

reliability comes from your pocket... you can wreck a 202 every weekend and have it replaced by monday and your zipp can be as reliable as miao's open pro...or even better, keep spares of it at home...

bomb proof is never to be associated to stylish wheels... the designers spend too much time trying to make it stylish they forgot sensibility...and most of the time, they could be on too mush sugar products and caffeine and could possibly be rushing to spend time with their tenga's instead of making your wheels sensibly reliable... they just need to make it look good enough to be sold... true story...

like me... everyday come 5.30... i think of going home to my tenga... so much tat i would not give a shit about work and jus blast through it like i play Super Contra with unlimited lives...

I too have Zefal Husky, but had problem with the air escaping from the nozzle when inflating the tire, i think it is due to the inflexible of the air hose and maintaining perfect contact with the nozzle or could it be a noob's problem?

Just want to check if a dealer imports a certain model of road bike from USA to MY, is it tax free or taxable?

We were informed that road bike are taxable while mountain bikes are not. Meanwhile, my friend who is in the shipping business said otherwise - road bike are non taxable while mountain bike is.

your friend is right... mountain bikes are taxable according to the customs table...road bikes for some odd reasons that it shares the same wheel size as those old normal singlespeed bikes are not...

if a dealer imports a bike, they would have hide any necessary shipping charges, taxes, or any other charges into the final price... they would not be itemizing it out for you...that is also one of the reasons why the bike would not costs the same from just a plain currency conversion of the price you saw online...

the standard answer....

try Giant (jbs bike), Merida (pedalspot), and Polygon (rodalink) first. Then take a look at the rest, if you can afford them, then go for it...

there are 2 scenarios to this...

1) you want the bike fast, and they have to fly it in separately or just flying that particular bike over in a single shipment... then i think, it is fair to pay the freight charges... tax wise i am not so sure of as tax is a grey area in malaysia as you know it... if it they really get taxed and there is docs to prove it... i guess there is no ways but to pay for it...

usually bike shops ships their bikes in batches of large quantities 2 or 3 times yearly to make the costs of the container worth it...so, even if they are willing to order it over, you might have to wait months to get it if you missed their last shipment...

2) they might be shipping it over from some shops they have connections with from neighboring countries as they could not get a single bike from their main supply source... i've heard of this being done and the declarations for taxation is a bit more murky on this one and there is high chances shipments like this gets into trouble with customs..

if they are asking you to wait for a couple of months so they can ship together with their next batch of bikes and still make you pay the extra on top of the price of that bike (which is sold at the same price as the simillar models of smaller size in their shop)... then it is questionable since the costs would have been embedded into their main shipment...

it's the same thing as if i buy my japanese domestic blu-rays, DVD or CDs ...i have to pay the tax rate, shipping charges which actually ends up higher than sites like cdjapan or yesasia... leading to the costs per album as high as RM180-RM200 as opposed to local released ones at less than RM50... it just depends if they want to tell you what you are paying for...

what bike are you looking to ship in btw, if you don't mind me asking?

Roller are for those elite rider. Roller are for them to perfection their cycling gait... postures etc etc.

trainer are for those want fitness improvement.

have you look at Athetele Circle?

trainer are for those want fitness improvement.

have you look at Athetele Circle?
Elite riders already have strength, thus roller are better suit.

Yup. We should encourage Malaysian into sports, by embrace newbie with grace. Not discouraging them by saying "must doing this, must not doing that" thingy.

I got some newbie question after doing some research. Some trainer got flywheel weight 0.6kg some, some got 2.7kg. Lagi berat flywheel weight, lagi better?

the weight is kind of pointless... heavier will make it harder to spin up... and supposedly it should provide a level of continuous forward momentum to simulate real world riding (if you have ridden stationary bikes before, you know the use of flywheel)

but with the resistance in... the momentum would not make any sense at all...because the resistance would be like putting a brake on the heavy flywheel...

From my initial suvey at BBS rim drive trainer macam exceed my budget, but never asked during visit to lbs. Can get below RM700? My Giant Revel is 26", should be no prob rite for most trainer? I think only 29" need special consideration. Am I right?

Tapi ada intention jugak just leave my MTB on the trainer if I'm lazy enough to swap bike.

not anymore. superceded by RDA80. i bought it used for RM350 (i think). so i suppose the retail price was RM4xx. or RM3xx close to 400.

it was okay. my only worry was if the belt snapped. i sold it becase i found trainers to be extremely boring.

..on pro racing..just to understands more on the tactical aspect of the tour.

Ow does a domestique rider helps his teammate to try to recover after gotten distanced in an uphill battle? Is it more to do pace setting him and limit the damages, as I dun see any advantages in drafting...no?

Also...How does the work cuts out for a domestique rider in neutralizing an attack?

racing is a dynamic thing... there is no rulebook on how to make or counter a play... it is up to the genious of the director sportiff too cook up shit on the fly...

you can't just look at it like that...

usually, the rouleurs would cover the flats on a mountain stage early on and depending on situation... try to last as long as possible until the climbs begin.. they will be in charge of chasing important breaks down or countering any sort of moves... if the DS makes it hard for them and wants them to push the pace hard, then they might wear out even faster than expected...

and if the captain is feeling good that day... the DS might actually order a rider to follow a breakaway so that the captain would have someone up the road ahead of the race in case he needs him later in the stage... like Andy Schleck on the Galibier stage 18 in 2011 where he attacked 60K from the finish

once comes the climbs the super domestiques or climbers would take their turn to pace the team up the climbs...

usually, if the pace is hard enough... the domestiques would be spent by the last climb of the day leaving their captain to make an all out run up the last ascend of the day...so, if the captain is unlucky and get dropped... he is usually without much help at all and has to do the damage limitation himself.. if he is lucky to have someone close by... the domestique will be in charge of pacing his captain back up the climb whether to limit his time loses or regain contact again...

for instance, LA at 2003 Luz Ardiden... you see his team (i think tyler at that time waiting for him to have him blasting past the lead group after he took a tumble with iban mayo on the last climb of the day)

or like carlos sastre in 2008 up alpe d'huez where everyone's eyes was on frank schleck as he was wearing the maillot jaune... and carlos sastre suddenly attacked out of nowhere and bjarne riis ordered both his boys to sit in the chasing group trying to tow onto the ragged cadel evans and sink him...

or 2007 when Contador had Popovych towing the team up plateau de beille and then leipheimer attacking to thin out the leaders group to set a base for contador to launch on...

sometimes unusually though is that the GC riders have their main men beside them at the last climb all the way like 2003 where i remember lance had the angry menonite with him before descending the last climb into the finish...

and on certain times, like 2006 where floyd actually blasted away some 100k before the finish to chase down a couple of riders and then win the stage himself just to find that he was caught with testosterone that unfortunate day...

and bad times like the same year where floyd lost 10 minutes in just 1 single stage and only having the struggling axel merckx to ride his ass off back to him to pace him up the final climb

in summary, there is no who, how, when and where... it is a game of chess and there is no guides on how to play the chess pieces... jus pure creativity on the road...

QUOTE(butthead @ Jun 11 2013, 09:57 AM)
there are 2 scenarios to this...

2) they might be shipping it over from some shops they have connections with from neighboring countries as they could not get a single bike from their main supply source... i've heard of this being done and the declarations for taxation is a bit more murky on this one and there is high chances shipments like this gets into trouble with customs..

if they are asking you to wait for a couple of months so they can ship together with their next batch of bikes and still make you pay the extra on top of the price of that bike (which is sold at the same price as the simillar models of smaller size in their shop)... then it is questionable since the costs would have been embedded into their main shipment...

it's the same thing as if i buy my japanese domestic blu-rays, DVD or CDs ...i have to pay the tax rate, shipping charges which actually ends up higher than sites like cdjapan or yesasia... leading to the costs per album as high as RM180-RM200 as opposed to local released ones at less than RM50... it just depends if they want to tell you what you are paying for...

what bike are you looking to ship in btw, if you don't mind me asking?

please be aware that reputable shops/retailers will never under-declare their stuff.

and please note that, the tax imposed will be on the total of (item price + shipping cost).

you can check the tariff here http://tariff.customs.gov.my/

but please know that, nothing is certain. it's like a box of chocolate. u never know how many chocolate bars u gonna get in the box. somebody might have eaten some of it.

Not drafted in a peloton, mana ada p2k or UCI group ride. But did drafted on someone's wheels and could feel the effect of drafting, at least 20% less effort then if I have to do it on my own at about 32km/hr.

Thank you for the explanation with illustrations rclxms.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif
I think you could start a school for cycling commentaries for our local sports channel covering cycling event...I remember Miao or is it not him that commented that the local sports commentator knows nuts about the leads out or domestique, keep citing the cyclists given up so close to the finish. Makes we want to yank their chain if I happened to be watching.

This always comes to mind, eg. BMC do not have a strong enough team, couldn't Cadel just leached on to the back for example Froom and thus save as much energy even if the Sky train set a very fast pace to obliterate the competition.
What are the disadvantages faced by Evans or advantage Froom has......and no dafag pls from Miao...k? flex.gif

the problem is not to hide in team sky's back...but rather if anyone can still have the ability to attack off the front after being pushed so hard... it's like riding with p2k at an average speed of 45kph for 50KM... wat nuts have you to think that you still have the strength to sprint away from the p2k group at KM 51???

tat is what evans is facing...Evans have all the time not have the team around him to protect him... i admit BMC has done a better job than the silence lotto years, but it is still far from fully capable of bringing him to where he needs...

and lets not forget, he fought for his win in 2011 all by himself... dragging then the entire chasing group up galibier trying to chase down andy schleck... and even have frank schleck backstab him in the last KM...even voeckler has to thank him for chasing so hard that he benefited by wearing the yellow jersey for another day...and the race of the truth where he truly trumped andy schleck like he was a b!tch waiting to slapped around like a red headed step child...totally just lost all the time gains he got on galibier... i was so dumbfounded watching the last TT in 2011... after believing what Andy Schleck did in 2010 against alberto contador in the final TT was genuinely what Schleck was capable in TTs...

it was every bit a dafag moment during that whole time....

I will buy a complete bike as I am not too choosy as lilred says "Beggars cannot be choosers" cheaper ma!
Preferably my Groupset will be a Sram Force this round but doubted it to be available complete as there are in neither ends of the spectrum.
Must swap out the OEM wheels with the Aero wheels of Choice (For style sake) ....I own up for F@ks-non performance....i dun remotely qualify to talk it.

i don't watch the swiss tour... all the GC favourites usually go to dauphine because it is gives them some time in between the finish of dauphine and the tour and the dauphine is in france and also ran by ASO who runs the tour (less acclimatizing since they are already in france).. and also because the dauphine sometimes will run through the same routes or climbs as the tour does.. swiss tour finishes with only 1 to 2 weeks gap to the tour....

I cannot imagine you could settle on a bike other than your first choice unless nothing matters more than your current toys.
I know you will settle for a Parlee anytime, but why not Trek since you have mentioned in your earlier post in reply to lilred.

Get some side income like publishing a book on Cycling... I will be the first to buy and support your quest to get to Mila Kunis and the bike! biggrin.gif

Or organized some Cycling tour and make some money from the participants, again I will be the 1st....

How about Malaysia sole distributorship of your favorite toys... butthis I can't support la!

berner comes complete as a cage and pulley kit...

very popular back in 09

13t and 15t combination will cause the pulleys to grind against each other...unless you have a mid length cage... even that, on most shimano... the cage has a hook at the tension pulley to prevent chain from jumping out of the cage and that will not allow the 15t to fit in unless it is sawed off...

i fitted a 15t on my previous apex mid cage before and it was working... just for fun punya lar... but i didn't change the top as the top uses a different pulley bolt... M4 i think while shimano uses M5 on both pulleys...

that was not about the product itself... and it was a discussion on something that has yet to exists... so, not counted...

we did discuss about "tengas" though... but it wasn't related to tenga in anyway...

just as how pizza hut make some of their products to suit the local taste. like pizza with satay topping, what??? italian fans are mad about this, like how the campagnolo fans mad about installing shimano on italian frame.

ok back to current topic, what do u think of a tenga in a shape of tengas?

why would they be mad about that??? campy don't make frames anyways

they would be mad if you you use Shimano calipers with Campy groupset or some shimano FD and cranks...

piranha size is acceptable...and the sharp teeth should serve as an interesting texture for the SM crowd...
