Just plan your trip according to the ERP timing and alternative roads bypassing ERP is more worth while.

Hi all, I have a 100Mbps STARHUB FIBRE HOME BROADBAND Connection for transfer. The contract end date is 18-April-2015. I will bear the relocation fees, installation fees and registration fees. The monthly subscription fees now is $39.90/month. The reason of transfer is due to some unforeseen issues, I'm moving to other house however with internet-ready and therefore I do not need my current Starhub Fibre Internet. Kindly PM me or contact 93227739 if you are interested. Would appreciate if anyone can spread the news out. Thanks for the help!!!

QUOTE(Fiona Chin @ Jun 19 2013, 09:16 AM) JPJ in my state. I can't remember the exact procedure when they punched the hole since it was more than one decade ago. I got the impression from the JPJ officer that the MY license must be cancel according to their Act. JPJ also issued a letter from their director saying that the MY license is cancel and return, to reactivate next time when I give up the SG license with a letter from LTA. JPJ in Sabah. No standard procedure one... Wow... if they punch a hole in your licence at JPJ,.. how do they expect you to drive home from JPJ? No licence, man.

QUOTE(tyj82 @ Jun 14 2013, 11:08 AM) Claiming lock 1 room is not allow, I am not sure how you declare the owner staying o not. There a room for owner and he can come and stay in the room. I still have not seen any HDB office for the past 5 year renting here. Just close your door when you home and never open to anyone. HDB office wont come in. Yup as I mentioned claiming to lock one room is not allowed. It's just owners exploiting the system. I personally have friends who have encountered it. HDB came knocking on the door and want to check the owner is it renting out the whole apartment illegally. Then my friends will tell HDB that the owner is overseas and not around. Subsequently they will call the owner and inform them and the owner will come and stay/wait for my friend to call them when HDB comes and they will rush back and open the door of the locked room. They will like put some clothing and furniture there. It's just an act to play around the system. Another friend who is not so lucky. The owner basically don't care and HDB came twice. The third time HDB came down with some legal documents and my friend was told to move out on the spot at 9pm+. No excuse no leniency. All these are true life encounter. So I always rent condo to save the trouble of being lied by owners

You can use your Singapore license to drive a Malaysian registered car. So far I kena once and the police and JPJ was lenient. They just let me off without anything so am not sure is it legally or they are just being nice. Use a runner to do it for you. Basically you can have both your Malaysian and Singapore license valid

QUOTE To drive a vehicle in Singapore, you must possess a valid Singapore driving licence for the class of vehicle that you want to drive. This requirement applies to all citizens and permanent residents of Singapore and also foreigners who are residing in Singapore for more than twelve (12) months.
A foreigner above 18 years of age and holding a Work Pass/Dependent Pass/Student Pass may drive in Singapore with a valid class 3, 3A or 2B foreign licence, for a period of not more than 12 months. A Singapore driving licence is required after 12 months.

Please go to the IU service center to install. Dont go to bike shop. I got conned by bike shop last time. they charge me $190. Because someone tell me the IU center won't install and only sell the device. Its a lie, they sell and also provide installation. Just that you need to pay extra $$ if your bike needs a bracket.

Drivers ie. who can drive, is under TP. Driving licences are issued by them.
Cars ie. what you can drive, is under LTA. Car registration and entry of foreign cars is under them.
LTA will enforce the laws or by-laws that they create.
TP will enforce all laws.
1. make sure you can drive in Singapore ie. have an appropriate driving licence.
2. make sure you have a car that can be driven in Singapore ie. properly registered or legally entried.
3. based on your residency status, make sure you drive the right type of properly registered or legally entried car.
