I never got CL more than 1.5X than my monthly salary. been requesting for CL increase few times already. never got it. Didn't even inform me whether my application approved or not. Other banks are giving me like 5X salary. maybe MBB don't want my business. but i really like MBB2 AMEX ;p

New to credit card.
I have read the first post.
I hope some of u can brief me throughly.
But I don't really understand what is the benefit of holding two cards. Since American express offers 5x treat points, does it better than the master or visa? Then what's the point of using master or visa since it offers lower treat point?
Or the American express can only be used in oversea?

benefit of the Visa/Master is when certain Merchant doesnt accept AMEX, you can use it.
its good for people who only have this 2 cards, but for those who has cards with better benefits, they wont use the Visa/Master that comes with maybank2kard

its always separate, for each individual card. Each card has its own rate.

Hmm, the question is unclear, annual limit. I assume he is asking about the credit limit, which is shared.

what is annual limit? Annual income for application purposes then makes sense.

today just go KLCC maybank branch to apply for this card, but customer service(sit table one) there told me that my basic salary not yet reach 2.5K and require me to bring my degree cert and 6 months bank statement, although my basic salary 2.1K + allowance alrdy exceed 2.5K. And she don't look really friendly when i asking more about it. Anyone can advice on it? I thought i already work 3 years and no more in fresh graduate level but still require to see my degree cert? I alrdy prepare my epf statement to prove i earn more than 2.5K per month but she did not ask for it.

Or try with another personnel? Only one person working there?

not yet try other branch, becoz i heard if go maybankcard centre can process faster, but the KLCC one look like branch only, not maybankcard centre. Not one working there only, today i just take the ticket number from counter and wait for my turn.

I find that personnel in The Gardens are quite friendly and helpful. Perhaps you can try to go there. smile.gif
