what negative comment?
anyway, if you search in google GTX xxx issue or HD 7xxx issue,
there are tons of issues user having that might as well don't buy any of the graphic cards tongue.gif

still, which issues are you referring to anyway?

yeah its a good card, can check up the reviews.

basically AMD GPU are cheaper at the same par of performance within the same tier of Nvidia wink.gif

lifespan of AMD GPU.... and my fren told me nvidia GPU have better software update (i think he is talking about the driver update ,right? )

You may try to ask a quote from pc image via email to check price if lazy to pay a visit to their shop. But their respond is quite random, take few days sometime.

Just went at afternoon and purchased smile.gif and they do carry Sapphire cards actually

There cannot get sapphire 7770?
Just rm 349 instead of 479
*
They didnt have the normal version, so i got the sapphire 7770 vapor x model, but i only realized after i bought it, a extra RM10 could get me the sapphire 7790, so definitely in a facepalm moment now doh.gif

Last question, not sure if this is too off topic, but a CM K280 with just the front fan installed is enough to cool the rig right? Gonna leave everything stock as i want this rig to last me around 3-4 years

You sure they carry other Sapphire models? If not mistaken the 7770 vapor x is left over one by a forumer due to canceled deal. Thats why no normal version available.

can't really say bout it because from time to time both of the AMD and Nvidia regularly updates their driver to keep with up to date requirement.
and
about lifespan of computer component really cant say much bout it coz imo it mostly depend on your luck XD

let other comment bout it tongue.gif

since you just bought it few hours ago, cant you try contact them for you to add some bucks and replace with 7790 instead? who know if they allowed it smile.gif

as for the fan, keep the air flow balance is enough, intake = outtake, don't get too much intake or later your interior will get dusty faster.

That card is ok
But if possible to change it to 7790 will be great rclxms.gif
Try ask them that smile.gif
Btw more airflow means better heat dissipation if done correctly smile.gif

look like you have poison me biggrin.gif , but why all the benchmark that i found on the internet stated 7970 is weaker than 670 ? i just took a view on some price list, there are two type of 7970 in sapphire brand

SAPPHIRE HD7970 3GB D5 384BIT OC [1299]
SAPPHIRE HD7970 3GB D5 384BIT VAPOR-X [1399]

I just dont get it, since we can OC ourselve, but why many GPU they come out a OC version itself?? what the point? and the difference between these two are RM100... sorry i am very new to GPU still

I suppose u are refering to a wrong one. There's a different between 7970 and 7970 Ghz
user posted image

The pre-OC is for someone lazy to do manual OC. Most of the time pre-oc'ed version offers better cooling solution.

Unfortunately just got my rig last night, didnt try to cancel it as they had already built the rig, and im not sure even if its possible to change at such the last minute, still want to maintain healthy relationship with pc image sweat.gif

About the fans, they installed a single intake fan at the side. Thinking about installing another outtake fan at the rear, should balance out everything right?

Well what done is done, let it be tongue.gif
Just swap the side fan to the rear side as exhaust. Most of the time I only mount fan(s) at rear or top side as exhaust, let the side/front blank as passive intake airflow to reduce noise.
