Cut budget on cpu, downgrade to i3 3220 RM344 will do.

Hi, hmwgbworld..

If I use i5 but downgrading the gpu to HD7770 Vapor-X OC.. Issit okay? I think 7770 and 7790 not much different right?

Hi, ezmeer94.. The price is 419 for 7770 n 475 for 7790.. Trying to cut down the budget to around 1.6k. Cost my friend my budget very limited..

hello guys need your recommendation on this build..due to some budget constraint i had to lower down my budget from 3k to 2.5k..
after some browsing in garage sales..this is what i had in mind..
all the price i look at lingloong site..

some of the games good on gtx 680 but most of them good on 7970

if there is a need for OC, i would need to get i5 3570k along with a z77 mobo rite?

either both MSI or ASRock h77 would do fine?

PSU = FSP Hexa 500w - RM150
Value RAM = TEAM Elite DDR3 1600Mhz 4GB = RM95

or you can boost up graphics by;
downgrade you PROC to intel core I3 3220.

if you want to OC, I didnt know much bout OC.

but mostly people would say getting unlocked 'k' proc + z77 chipset would be much better.

you need to change to a better CPU cooler, CM 212 evo would do.

basically just to do work related n mild gaming..so the gpu need to be able to play latest game at mid setting..plus i also will do some photoshop..and watching movie..

able to play crysis 3 at 1920x1080 at medium settings smoothly
at medium the graphics are great already sweat.gif

Thanks ezmeer94.. My friend seldom play game 1.. He just wanted play the latest game in medium setting then he satisfied.. I think I might take the cheaper gpu..

Hmph.. I tried to bargain with the seller.. I can get a really good price in Jayacom.. They sell really cheap.. Some time cheaper than their price list..

also deciding between AMD FX6300 and i5 3570k hmm.gif

other parts are Asrock 990FX Extreme 3, WD 1TB Blue HDD, CM GX Power 650W PSU...ssd undecided yet

well, I dont think they got any difference to offer in term of performance, just it look much more cooler than normal RAM thats all.
