Have been testing CarbonRom past 2 days - recommended rom if you want to have tweaks on taskbar and Navigation bar . Example I have enabled the navigation bar to have menu button displayed and in color plus width of it can be reduced up to your choice. Taskbar I have only expanded the date format
CarbonRom has always being my favorite rom in the Nexus 4

Rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2388750

Kernel I have chose ElementalX : with it I now just ned to double tap to wakeup display and swype across to sleep it. Took out the inconvenience of using the power button which is poorly located at the bottom part of the side

Yes I have it enabled. But yet to test it as I rarely used PC USB port to charge it

Guys, apparently android 4.3 allows both the volume button to act as the camera shutter button. Anyone tried?

I tried, but probably it's too big so I still prefer soft button touch if compare to my Xperia SP's shutter button

Yes it does ( can use either volup or voldown) but personally I find it not practical to use , mainly due to location of the volume buttons. It is faster and more convenient to use the soft button on display

the main purpose to have an external button for tablet/phone camera is actually for selfie.

But it seems using the physical button volume is faster to capture than on screen.
especially when want to fast snap pic smile.gif

Is faster using soft button as you need slightly longer time to hit the vol buttons. Anyway I don't see any difference in time in taking pics in both
If the vol buttons positioned at center n not behind it Is more convenient to use

Updated this morning to the new firmware. Haven't tested out the supposed multitouch and GPS fixes.

Never had the Multitouch problem though.... GPS will test out later

yup the vol key is not convenient.
but i feel like it snaps faster , soft button seems take longer to focus or using the vol button skips the focussing or it prefocus b4 shoot.

for the LTE version, if we get from newegg we'll get the US version or EU version? it's going to matter since we can only use 1800mhz band on US while EU has 1800mhz & 2600mhz...

1800MHz is supported here though 1800MHz has worse congestion compared to 2600MHz.

Why don't you ask newegg directly?? Has he quoted to you n from the price you would know. Europe is more expensive by about rm400
Garage sales quoted me 1.2k for USA n 1.6k for europe
