Finally the LTE version! But the recent devaluation of MYR, we are paying a lot more for the currency fluctuation.
It is about RM 1.6k after conversion and by the time it reaches here, I'm not sure how much that adds up to. I'll wait for US version then since I can live with 1800MHz. Found out it is 4G LTE 700, 750, 850, 1700, 1900, 2100 MHz No hope then... This post has been edited by fruitie: Aug 29 2013, 12:58 AM |

With these prices maybe US LTE is the only option. It is about RM 1.6k after conversion and by the time it reaches here, I'm not sure how much that adds up to. QUOTE(gin&tonic @ Aug 29 2013, 06:58 AM) Well, the price is not really that expensive but to me that's not worth for it. No doubt we are using 1800MHz and 2600MHz but I can live with just 1800MHz for my tablet. Probably for my mobile phone, I will go for both 1800MHz and 2600MHz. |

No doubt we are using 1800MHz and 2600MHz but I can live with just 1800MHz for my tablet. Probably for my mobile phone, I will go for both 1800MHz and 2600MHz. May want to skip this version. |

also, newegg not bringing in is a major bummer any ideas where to get it at a not so inflated price? |

i think part of the reason newegg doesn't want to bring it in might be because they have to go through sirim certification since it is using regulated radio frequency, specifically LTE bands.
that would definitely increase their overhead cost and certainly not making much profit. |

QUOTE(RedDevils88 @ Aug 29 2013, 01:35 PM) QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 29 2013, 01:58 PM) Actually a LTE MiFi costs around RM 450. I'm not sure if I should get a non-LTE model and tether using LTE MiFi. same here, thought of getting a Mifi but then that's another thing to carry and charge...not to mention those aren't exactly cheap... Even you import in yourself you save most rm50 provided you don't need to pay rm100 for sirim permitalso, newegg not bringing in is a major bummer any ideas where to get it at a not so inflated price?
