Finally the LTE version! But the recent devaluation of MYR, we are paying a lot more for the currency fluctuation. sad.gif

It is about RM 1.6k after conversion and by the time it reaches here, I'm not sure how much that adds up to. sweat.gif

I'll wait for US version then since I can live with 1800MHz.

Wait, what's the LTE band for Japan version? My best friend is in Tokyo and she will be more than happy to grab one for me. biggrin.gif

Found out it is 4G LTE 700, 750, 850, 1700, 1900, 2100 MHz
No hope then...

It's very expensive for the Euro LTE version. With these prices maybe US LTE is the only option. cry.gif

Well, the price is not really that expensive but to me that's not worth for it. smile.gif
No doubt we are using 1800MHz and 2600MHz but I can live with just 1800MHz for my tablet.
Probably for my mobile phone, I will go for both 1800MHz and 2600MHz.

So true. Price is really kind of premium for me. doh.gif Wonder Asus Malaysia will honor warranty for LTE devices here?
May want to skip this version.

I can live with non-LTE speed, I just need the mobile data...
also, newegg not bringing in is a major bummer doh.gif
any ideas where to get it at a not so inflated price?

i think part of the reason newegg doesn't want to bring it in might be because they have to go through sirim certification since it is using regulated radio frequency, specifically LTE bands.

that would definitely increase their overhead cost and certainly not making much profit.

Actually a LTE MiFi costs around RM 450. I'm not sure if I should get a non-LTE model and tether using LTE MiFi. hmm.gif

MiFi is affordable but not LTE MiFi.
Maybe I should get a LTE MiFi and can use for other devices as well.

Garage sales those sellers making only about rm100 per unit. Fair price I would say. Even you import in yourself you save most rm50 provided you don't need to pay rm100 for sirim permit
