anyone know how to turn off the "auto brightness" when viewing video for vostro 5470?
kinda annoying when swithing to video it become dim abit..

haha... but i'd removed the stupid backup & recovery. McAffee just leave it there since its a free anti virus

So u guys got remove the free McAffee anti-virus?
Can download again from Dell or McAffee website after un-install?

bought at ground floor alienware store at lowyat plaza..dunno the store name but they only sell dell notebook...anyway u can get cheaper here http://www.techhypermart.com/notebooks/del...p-notebook.html .. mine was about RM2100

i had google every alternate,
services.msc ,
advanced power option, turn off adaptive brightness
uncheck dell intelligent display in battery mode..and etc.
none of those can fix..

Anyone notice that when ur display have more dark color, the screen itself will dim automatically?
watching a video, photo, surfing website whenever there are more dark color the screen will dim down...
so intelligent the automatic display...
it was driving me crazy..

i bought the premium version at half price. RM60 so okay ler.

where did u get the price?i think if thats the case, better buy the laptop from dell website and get the warranty together.with that price rm700, you can get both the 3 year limited warranty AND 3 year accidental warranty.

yes, i think he already bought the laptop with 1 year warranty and later want to add more.thats why it is always better to buy it at first.my current dell laptop is covered with accidental warranty, i accidentally dropped it and it was repaired the next day.total peace of mind

Got myself 2 year warranty for my coming soon laptop.

seriously, no one find that vostro 5470 will auto dim the brightness of screen whnever there are the screen has dark color?

couldnt even find a solution for it..
