this is not about study or what, if REALLY got wifi problem then I should
face the SAME problem as well. If you buy a car, your RIM make an
annoying sound, does that mean ALL got same problem? Like I said
so far no problem yet. Not only Dell, asus hp toshiba msi acer and other
also will face their own problem. Thats why in the first place manufacturer
provides WARRANTY if confirm no problem, they surely provide 9000
years warranty, correct?

No doubt TM unifi give us shitty router... When I'm just sit next to the router, the connection seems fine, never disconnected even once, but once I went inside room, the connection seems getting weaker & disconnected. My room distance to router is less than 10 meter & only 1 wall in between. I also noticed the signal bar shown is not accurate, it shows 3-4 bar, but actually the signal is poor when i click to view the details.

BTW, I noticed 5470 have 2 graphic cards. 1st is built in Intel HD & another is Nvidia GT740M, do we need to select which to use or both will run at same time automatically?

Dell will replace it for us FOC?

Yes, normal LAN cable can fit in, don't worry. You need need to flip the "small plastic (it is there to protect the port)" on the port downward to make the port back to normal size.
That "small plastic" is kind of fragile, be gentle

After tested my Vostro 5470 for almost a week, I can conclude that the wifi is sucks.

I had my iPhone, iPad & another Lenovo laptop together next with the vostro 5470, all device was connected to my wifi where the Vostro unable to detect the wifi. The distance between my Unifi router & all the devices is less than 10m (distance by a wall).

I don't think is the router problem because all other devices was connected except my 5470.

Might need to call Dell & get them to resolve this issue for me...

Anyone know what is this Dell Backup & Recovery?

It come with my 5470 & this is the basic version. All functions need to be upgraded to premium version which cost money. If you just ignore it, it will appear on the notification area which is very annoying.

How do you guys deal with this stupid stuff?

hey guys, my i5m 5460 was burn cpu, and change mainboard for 5 times on last month. becarefull on overheat issue. damn dell....

lol i had this problem long ago already.I am already using msata now cuz ssd just wont work. msata works wonderful without problem and hassle. Booting takes less than 10second. everything is snappy
wah overheat? my laptop(5470) never overheat.. even when im playing games, the laptop is cooler than any other laptop out there.
