What's the difference between these 3? Looking for not so bassy durable earphones for music.

guys thinking of getting some good headphones. budget rm700 which in ear best ya? looking at hybrid headphones currently, anyone know what the difference compared to normal ism? the one im looking now is the T-Peos H-100 Hybrid Iem, looks very nice. Most probably can get for around rm700. i listen to rock, pop, alternative, dance, progressive house and many more. so around rm700 which headphones anyone can recommend me? For extra topup, I believe the Final Audio Design Heaven IV would be a good choice but I currently have a Monster Turbine Pro Gold, can that compete with it and is the FAD better than the Turbine Gold? I don't think xp series is good. nor hippo pearl. I recommend checking out dunu top sound they are really good for their price. I used to use dunu tridents and only cost around rm60+

The Turbine has a slightly V-shaped sound along with some bloated bass. The H-100 would be pretty similar, but bass is obviously not going to hit as hard.

Heaven IV sounds nothing like the Turbines. The Heaven are neutral, if anything. Huge soundstage and good imaging. Lows are tight, with a good amount of rumble, but not bloated, and works well with the rest of them spectrum. Mids are slightly dark, but colored just right, good details on vocals and well represented dynamics. Treble extends well, forwrd and aggressive, but lacks sparkle(which is why I didn't get it), slight peak at certain high sibilance moments but they work well with the overall sound of the Heaven IV.

so which headphone is the best in your opinion?? Monster turbines gold or the Heaven IV?

The Heaven IV, hands down. I like my bass, but the Turbines are just too muddy in the mid-bass area that it basically muffles anything around it. The Heaven IV might be neutral but I assur you they do not sound boring or hollow. They are exciting in their own way.

But don't take my word for it. Try A/B them at Jaben along with your Turbines. Keep an open mind and you'll see what I mean. Music that benefit from good soundstage recommended, like a well recorded rock song, or classical.

Why don't you try the other range in FAD Heaven? I found the IV quite light in comparison to the C and S. It lacks the Heaven signature. There's also the Heaven V, although i haven't tried that one.

no budget lol. how about the rock it sound r-50? seen great reviews about it

If i like the KSC75, what headphone would be similar to it and be a big improvement over it. Budget 1.5-2.5k

Really no idea to get what. Seems like step up from FA-003 to Beyer COP not really worth it.

I have been searching too since I got into this hobby, unfortunately found none. If you like the KSC-75, I am afraid you may not like warmer headphone, probably you want something with much bigger sound stage and better instrument separation while maintaining exactly similar signature. Don't get me wrong, IMO there are many better headphones out there with higher price tag of course, but in the end I keep coming back to my KSC-75, its just me I guess. It's a special phone indeed but still miles away from being the best, very fun to listen to, and to me, the vocals are perfectly positioned and I don't find the treble offensive at all as claimed by others. I have no issue with Grado brightness, so I have no problem whatsoever listening to KSC-75 for hours. To be honest, within your budget, you can already go for high end or even flagship headphone. I would suggest you to try and demo Beyer T1 (over your budget, its priced above RM3k). I don't think you can go wrong with that, but there is no guarantee you're going to love it either

Other recommendations:

1. Goldring DR150 (strongly recommended by HeadFi folks)
2. Alessandro MS1i, Alessandro MS2i - had this but I didn't enjoy it as much as I do with my KSC-75, weird right?

To me, the M50 is good on certain genres, mainly because of the signature it presented, it has less emotion and flat on treble frequency, with enhanced bass.
Fast and main stream music are suitable for M50, if you listed to classical, vocal, instrument etc, the forward, less emotion and flat top might be the disadvantage.


Beyerdynamic XP series provide more on bass spectrum, if you like bass signature, XP series is really value for money, while for hippo pearl, it has clarity, balance for the price it charged.


I will recommend Heaven V, i believe Turbinen gold cost around the same price with Heaven V?
