- my rig: Nova1

- What type of usage: Purely music

- File format used in your source : Mostly lossless but have a few mp3

- Genre of music you listen to: Everything from rock to pop, techno, heavy vocals and even some classical.

- Headphone: Prefer IEMs

- Other requirements (if any) : Fun sound sig. (My old IEMs are TF10s with Arete cables, so something similar?) Durable cables. (Volume control is an extra. tongue.gif)

Budget: RM800~ is fine

My old IEMs are still fine, but the Arete cables were faulty and I had to send it back and now I'm without music whenever I travel. Decided to get another pair as an alternative/back-up. Any suggestions are welcome. smile.gif

They sound interesting.

Am also considering Yamaha EPH100 and Vsonic GR07. Does anyone here know how they compare to each other?

lost my iPhone earphones sad.gif think I'm gonna get a new one, pros here please advise smile.gif

Budget: RM200 (can go a bit higher)
Your rig: iPhone
Usage: music and livestreams
File format: mp3
Genre: J-pop, doujin, touhou, K-pop
Headphone / earphone type: earbuds or in-ear
Other requirements: volume control (if possible, but not necessary)
*
Try Beyerdynamics X1/2/3 IEMs, RM199 from Jaben. You'll have to decide if you want bass or treble or balance since the 3 models do perform differently.

Sidenote, has anyone done a Custom ear impression from Clarisound? What do I need to tell them if I'm doing to them for CIEMs, just do an impression up to the second bend?

Just provide them with ciem company instruction. Open mouth impression using bite block works best for me

Thanks. Decided to try some customs to see how I like the snug fit, nothing fancy, just 2 BA from Cosmic Ears.

And OMG you have Kaedes!

Ohh...don't open your mouth too wide. The fit will become too snug and uncomfortable. Cosmic ears offerings seems nice..

Yup they are my favourite iem currently

Will do. Will probably get the impressions done this weekend.

4-Flat Kaedes look amazing. I've tried the Sui, but I've been told that Keades just does everything better. Waiting to see how Donguri sounds.

Slightly over your budget but look into the VSonic VSD1. Good performance to price ratio.

HifiMan Re-Zero or Re-400
Sony MDR600
TPeos H-100. (Get them from Mellow Works in SG)

Take your pick.

Edit: Missed requirements. Above are based on sound and built quality alone.

For volume controls, try Sony XBA-2 or 3 (IP ver)

Probably one of the best IEMs and really well received in head-fi right now: T-Peos H-200.

Great versatile sound sig, detachable cable. Get them from Mellow Works Studio. Even with FedEx delivery it's only slightly above 700.

Cannot find HiFi Man reseller at Garage sales. Still leaning more to Se215 due to the comfort. Would like to try Beyer X3 at Jaben some day

Pretty sure liquidgal sells Hifiman. Also, check out Vsonic VSD1, good bang for buck.
