Fat doesn't convert to muscle. So if you were 96kg previously, most of it might be just fat. Gaining muscle at higher body fat percentage is more difficult than doing it at leaner body. Just try to adjust your calorie intake. What you calculated through any calorie calculator might not accurate for you. So weigh yourself every morning and take weekly average. Increase your calorie if the weight gain doesn't meet your requirement. Trial and error is one of the good methods =)

Just because they don't see what's inside your cloth. You wear cloth = bulky and nicely build. Take off cloth = fat ass. You can't entertain everyone. Do what is comfortable to you.

Pretty lean.. Now that you know where you went wrong, just continue lifting and try build up the strength that you lost.

Last year, I used to bench at above my bodyweight till I did bro-cut. I got pretty lean and lost my strength and muscle. cry.gif

So, I learned from my mistake and watch my calories carefully. Now, im getting back to where I was. icon_rolleyes.gif
